These books are amazing
These books are amazing! The illustrations are awesome and the descriptions and the breakdown of pronunciation is awesome! My 5 1/2 year-old is pronouncing these huge words and correcting us on how to say them. It is led to much discussion and investigation on his part. We are thankful there are other books to purchase!

Quality Quality – So Very Well Organized
My grandson knows so much about dinosaurs! It is not a passing phase — so I need to start learning and keep up with him. This. Book. Is. Fantastic!! Separates the different eras and dinosaurs so you know what’s what, no confusion as to which dinosuar lived when. Appendices are absolutely fantastic!! Tree of Life for dinosaurs! And four pages of pictures grouping dinosaurs into their eras.
Then there are the amazing summaries of many many dinosaurs I’ve never heard of! As well as the usual ones everyone has heard of but now I can know about them.
Just a high high quality book of information Plus! The book itself is just beautiful binding, thick paper pages, excellent real-life art, colors. Again: high high quality book!

Do you want beautiful coffee table books but have young children? Look no further! These books are beautiful. They have gorgeous pictures and are educational. We have ours out on display as decor. My boys are always grabbing them to look through them! The universe one and Dino one are their favourites.

My first impression of this book when pulling from the shipping box was âwow!â The cover is beautiful, it had gold colored etchings on the front and back of the book. It even has the gold edging on the pages and an attached ribbon bookmark.
I side th pages feel sturdy and are beautifully illustrated. Each dinosaur has a drawing and information about them, including which period they lived in. There is also a table of contents and family tree in the front of the book. In the back pages explaining how to pronounce the names, index and even an illustration index with some facts.
I bought this to go with a prehistoric curriculum for one of my kids who loves dinosaurs. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who loved dinosaurs or just wants more information about them.

Great for readers who donât like stories
I have always had a great love of reading. I wanted to instill that in my children, but as a mom of boys it has proved difficult. Us girls like stories and chapter books and far away lands. I find my boys donât like to read like that lol. But nevertheless I find reading is very important to expand the mind and vocabulary as well as learning. This book is perfect. My 9 year old son is just as excited as me with how cool the book looks, with its details on the cover you can feel with your hands, its golden edges to make it look fancy, and itâs amazing photos. Heâs a big fact kid, he would read about facts all day but sit down to a chapter book and he might be in tears. Finally I found a series of books to foster his love of the world, and reading. He even sits and reads this to his younger brother who cannot read yet and is excited to do so. Have already ordered more from the series/ and DK.

Beautiful book
My 9 year old grandson loves dinosaurs and I wanted a book that was informative with out being too young. This is a book that he will actually read and enjoy and is so elegant. There is gold decor on the covers and gilt edged pages. Illustrations are beautiful and text is informative. I am incredibly impressed. It is a nice dinosaur book for the older kids.
