Great Product!
My wife loves the living proof dry shampoo! She has dark hair and is very picky overall about which ones sheâll use. She feels most brands are hard to blend in with her dark hair. She also doesnât love when they leave a thick, gunky residue in her hair. She feels this one really doesnât. The only slight con for her is that it has a very strong scent and being an aerosol it can be a little overwhelming. Overall, she loves the product and loved that this set had a smaller travel bottle!

Very effective, but with several drawbacks
Iâve tried this dry shampoo before, so this is my second bottle. Itâs extremely effective and doesnât leave a white residue if you shake the can well before spraying. There are a few things that keep me from using this dry shampoo regularly. First, price. This is way out of my budget for daily use. I wash my hair twice a week for convenience as a mom with small kids, so I use a fair amount of dry shampoo on my non-washing days. If this were my go to dry shampoo I would easily have to purchase a can every other month.Second, while I like how this dry shampoo works, it starts to hurt my scalp after I use it for more than one day. I have sensitive skin, so this is not uncommon for me.Third, the smell is very perfumed and can give me a headache occasionally. I realize this is to combat the smell of dirty hair and many times I use it anyway.Overall, I think this is a great dry shampoo to have in your cabinet for certain occasions, but it will not be my every day go-to product.

absorbs oil and sweat
I’m usually skeptical about using dry shampoo on my hair because of my coarser texture. Since I’ve had braids in my hair and it’s been so hot out, I decided to use this. I must say this helps A LOT! It helps absorb the oil between washes. I do apply it sparingly because I don’t want a lot of buildup. It sprays evenly. This is convenient and quick to use, making it a good option for refreshing my hair.

Bad smell good job
Works great but that old school smell is so strong and not my cup of tea. Feels overwhelming, which is a shame because it cleans really well.

Best dry shampoo
This has always been my go to dry shampoo, it doesnât leave your hair feeling gross after a few hours of using it. I find that it truly does help make your hair look refreshed and even gives it a bit of volume as well. Now I have a smaller size Iâll be using for travel.

Great dry shampoo
I’ve been using Living Proof dry shampoo for ages and it’s great. I’ve tried so many different dry shampoos but always come back to Living Proof because it’s that great. It is pricy though so was excited to see this pack with a little travel size. Not sure what makes it a “gift pack” though. Maybe they couldn’t find the words “value pack.”

Dry Shampoo – Value Set – Large Can + Bonus Small Can
This is my first experience with dry shampoo and I think I must be missing some technique. In my experience, instead of having hair that looks “cleaner” or less shiny, I was left with some white flaking that I had to rub in/out with my fingers and a handle towel. My hair felt odd afterwards and definitely felt a bit weighed-down as opposed to feeling cleaner and lighter.  The smell is on the stronger side, and lasts a while, but I don’t mind it, it reminds me of a salon-type hair product smell. The problems I am having may be user error, so I’ve rated this 4 stars. If I figure out how to apply this better, to get rid of the flakes and make my hair react better, or if the flakes remain/continue, I will come back and update this review. YMMV. Hope this helps! 🙂

I’m sold
I’ve been using Batiste dry shampoo for ages because I can get it for pretty cheap at Marshalls. I hadn’t tried Living Proof dry shampoo, but I knew I loved their regular shampoo. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. I used far less product than I do with Batiste, so it’ll last longer. It made my hair look clean for two days! Just don’t spray it too close to your head or you’ll end up with a big white spot that’s going to take ages to work into your hair. It did eventually work in. Stick with your roots and any parts that look greasy. Avoid the ends of your hair because it could make it look dry. I’m a fan.
