Very impressive! One of a kind.
I’ve been looking for ways to improve the time it takes to dry and straighten my wife’s hair and I finally found it. It takes less than half the time and hair dyed hair comes out beautiful and it seems like no damage at all. This straightening device is a true wet/dry product. They aren’t lying to you like a lot of others claim to. It’s expensive but when you use it you’ll know where the $500 went. In my opinion, it’s the best money can buy. I’ll be using it for years and probably throw away the hair dryers because I feel like I don’t need them anymore with this. Thank you, Dyson!

    Amazing
I have fine naturally curly hair. I’ve heard all my life how “lucky” I am. There are days I embrace my curls and days I curse my curls. Like many out there I rely on a blow dryer (heat) and a flat iron (more heat) to achieve a sort of style on the days I don’t like my hair.I recently chopped off 13″ of hair for a donation to a non-profit, and my hair and I are kind of trying to figure out what we have now. My new do just barely touches my shoulders, so it is not long, not super short.I have no idea what possessed me to fork out $400 for a hair dryer…but after reading the reviews on Amazon I threw caution to the wind and bought one. While I waited for this investment to arrive I busied myself with watching dozens of YouTube on how these work.By the time it arrived, my anticipation level was off the charts and I could hardly wait to wash my hair and use this thing. The videos were so helpful, that I was comfortable with operating it right off. There is a learning curve for sure…this looks like a flat iron and after years of using one, it’s like second nature, but this is not a flat iron. It’s a weird hair dryer. You have to reposition the device to go in the direction of the air flow. One thing I did not consider, but it totally isn’t an issue for some reason, is this does not reach your roots. I was concerned I would have straight hair from two inches out and weird wavy stuff at my scalp. That for some reason is not the case. I use just the air and kind of dry the roots in sections as I go.Results: Oh my goodness! It does exactly was it says it will do. I was ‘blown away’ by the results. Like shocked almost. I kept waiting for something to go wrong, but my hair just stayed straight and well behaved. I used a heat spray by Pura d’or and also have a backup Rusk serum to try next. Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like this contraption. The only downside, and it’s not really a downside, just a comment, this leaves your hair straight. Super straight. You are not able to put a bend or curve if you are looking for that. I suppose you can use a flat iron, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having something that Dyson touts as being kinder to your hair.Overall, I am surprised at myself for spending an obscene amount of money for a hair dryer, but I am equally surprised at how this really does do what it says it does. Welcome to my hair ritual, Dyson.

    Best hair tool ever
This hair tool is expensive but worth the money!! It’s definitely a little noisy but it does the job quickly. I am able to dry and straighten my hair at the same time, this saves me so much time. I am also using so much less heat on my hair. I used to straighten my hair at 345 and who knows how hot my hair dryer was now I only use this tool at 285. So much better for my hair.

Salon-Perfect Hair at Home: Why the Dyson Airstrait is Worth Every Penny!
The Dyson Airstrait is an absolute game-changer for anyone who washes their hair daily! As a woman in her 40s, I’ve found it brings my hair back to the silky, shiny look I thought only women in their 20s could have. It’s honestly like a professional blowout at home—without the hefty price tag of constant salon visits!Speaking of salons, I love that perfect blowout you get on special occasions, but I never go as washing my hair often wastes the visit. With the Airstrait, I can get that fresh-out-of-the-salon look daily! Yes, it’s $500 on Amazon right now (down from $600!), but think about this: if a salon visit costs around $50, it pays for itself after just 10 uses. Now, a little heads-up—this tool is not ideal for very curly hair or hair shorter than chin length, as the depth of the barrel won’t smooth the roots. But if your hair is wavy or frizzy and at least chin-length, you’re in for a treat! For the best results, I recommend pre-treating your hair with a serum to protect it from heat, and adding a few drops of oil at the ends after styling. My naturally wavy hair loves to frizz, and despite getting Japanese straightening treatments every five months, I still struggle with frizz. But with the Airstrait, it’s super easy! Here’s my routine: I first apply Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny serum, then section my hair into six parts. PRO TIP: although it sounds counterintuitive, run the Airstrait SLOWLY over SMALL sections for faster, smoother results. I only need two passes before locking in the style with the cool setting. Finish with a drop of Moroccan oil at the ends, and voila—smooth, sleek hair that lasts! If you’ve got frizz-prone, wavy hair and want salon-quality results at home, the Airstrait is worth every penny!

Get her something she wouldn’t spend the money to buy for herself. This thing is great. Noticeable difference with her hair when she uses it vs a conventional straightener. Little bit noisy, but that’s expected as this thing pretty much has a blow dryer built into it. A really fancy blow dryer.
