The color is Awesome! I ordered this for a bridal shower and it was easy to set up and take down. I even got it back into the bag. I can’t wait to use it this summer!

Absolutely perfect!
It took us about half an hour for the first set up. Now it takes about 10 minutes. The only thing t takes a lot to get the canopy in the bag. Very high quality canopy and the bag that supply for it. Very happy with the color and the ez up!!! Great purchase!!

Total Disappointment
I owned an EZ-Up tent for more than 12 years. It had a heavy canvas top, and it was a sturdy tent. I decided to replace it because it was very dirty (originally white) and it had a couple small tears in it. I didn’t even consider another tent company, but simply searched for EZ-Up tents. I thought the Patriot looked interesting because it was waterproof, it had more head room, and one person could put it up. The latter is absolutely correct. One person can put it up very, very easily. Unfortunately, folding it up is another thing altogether. It doesn’t fold smoothly, and the canopy gets all messed up so that when you open it again, you need to do a great deal of adjusting before securing the center lock. The canopy material is a very cheap polyester material that stretches. You can’t help but wonder how long it will last. I used the tent three times. On the third occasion, we had some rain and I didn’t get it down before the rain started, so I left it up. There was almost no wind, and the rain wasn’t that heavy so I tried not to worry. The rain stopped within an hour, and I left the tent up overnight. In the morning, it had collapsed on one side. The odd thing is, it was the side against the house (on the patio) where it was under a gutter that does NOT leak or overflow. One of the horizontal crossbars snapped in half at the joint. They are manufactured with a very thin metal and I can’t understand how the company expects it to withstand much of anything. Later, when I removed the canopy (in order to return the tent), I noticed another crossbar had broken, again at the joint (where the bar is drilled with a hole). I hadn’t even heard anything, nor had I seen it until I had the entire tent folded. It had to have occurred during the folding because I would have seen it when the tent was standing. Just a complete disappointment from what I had considered a great patio tent company. I would not recommend purchasing this tent for any reason. I do want to believe EZ-Up makes a good product, so I’m going to try the Vantage model which has more center support and a fabric canopy (water resistant, not waterproof).

Lightweight and easy, just be careful or else.
Edit/Update: The warranty team is sending me some replacement parts to fix this, and they have timely responses, so I wanted give them credit where it’s due.The carrying bag is tidy and nice. The canopy itself works nicely when its up, vent being a must have from now on. The negatives I have are two things:1. Top corner connecting rod had no hardware, and I noticed the rod poking at the tarp on about my 5th time erecting the canopy, because the rod does not stay in place where it is meant to as you set up or tear down. So far customer service has not responded to my email.2. The large portion of the tarp gets flipped/caught around the skeleton frame as you expand or collapse the frame, so you have to be careful not to pinch the tarp as you stand up or stow the canopy itself. Its a little tedious when there’s anything more than a breeze. Because the tarp isn’t very heavy duty, people need to take care or else I could see the tarp easily being torn.

Awesome Light Duty Canopy!
While we were spoiled with an EZ Up canopy of a heavy duty variety, (Enterprise model) this canopy is its lightweight cousin. It gets the job done but it is not quite as durable as the heavy duty Enterprise model. Of course, the heavy duty Enterprise model was twice as expensive, so you do get what you pay for.

NOT SO HEAVY DUTY!!!!!!
I BOUGHT THIS E Z UP TO USE FOR OUTDOOR UP-COMING CRAFT EVENTS…I WAS NOT ABLE TO GO TO A CRAFT EVENT DUE TO A BROKEN BACK. THE FIRST TIME WE USED IT WE WERE TAKING IT DOWN AND AS IT WAS HALFWAY DOWN THE WOMAN NEXT TO US WAS HAVING DIFFICULTY TAKING HER CANOPY DOWN SO MY HUSBAND AND I WENT OVER TO HELP HER….WE TURNED TO SEE OUR CANOPY WHICH WAS HALFWAY LOWERED TO START TO TUMBLE TOWARD OUR VEHICLE…IT HIT OUR VEHICLE and thank goodness did no damage to our vehicle but it snapped two of the bars out of the connecters …one bar bent almost completely in half and the other bar broke completely out of connector…it was a small gust of wind and our vehicle was only a tumble away from our vehicle…it did not hit the car with any amount of force …i would say it smacked into our car. it’s not so heavy duty to break 2 bars …is it!!!!!?… since i was not able to use it for the first time until after the warranty expired, they are telling me in so many words…TOUGH LUCK!!!” SHAME ON THEM!!!!! Not only is this product not HEAVY DUTY as they advertise….they are not a very reputable company either…they won’t back their product. i couldn’t really afford this but needed it for my craft shows….which would be a source of income for me and my husband …we are both on social security and my husband has stage 4 cancer…ya…tough luck for us huh? we are both in our 70’s and if something happens to my husband I needed to have a source of income to supplement s.s. our son did a repair job on it but who knows how its going to hold up…i will find out tomorrow as i have a craft event to go to…say a prayer..
