There are so many cards to use, more then I thought would be with it. The dry erase erases great. My daughter loves playing with this, she is trying so hard to read at 3.

Helpful word building teaching tool (CVC, Silent e)
I bought this to use with my students in my reading classroom. I purchased a different one as well. I like that this one has 1) pockets 2) white board 3) storage pocket.Things I like:-The vowels are color coded in red and the consonants in blue. There are also 3 of each vowel. Yay!!! Enough letters to make all kinds of words-Magnets hold very well on the white board. Expo markers are easy to write on and wipe off.-storage pocket fits all the cards and can close them.-Pockets are easy to move cards in and out of.-sheet with numbers to identify what the picture is with 3 sectionsâ¦changes in the sound for the beginning, middle, and end.-sound changes are color coded on cards.-Good value for $17.99Things that could be improved upon:-picture cards that donât make sense such as âhipâ for a picture of a corgis butt and âwagâ for a boy waving hello. âPegâ for tack; âtabâ for a tag. âBunâ for a loaf of bread; âcapâ for a sun hat. I plan on cutting a different picture that matches the word and gluing it on then laminating it. I will most likely not be using the photo cards much however, mostly the letter cards.-I will definitely have to laminate the cards. They are not real thin but they are a decent thickness, just not sturdy enough to hold up to repeated use by little hands.- it would be great if it had digraphs in there for each pocket (ch, sh, th, wh, ck) but I can make my own.Overall this is a great buy even with the odd photo cards and does exactly what I need it to do. I recommend it!

It was hard to use. Too many pieces. If you are a teacher it may work. I found it confusing.

Mostly good!
There are many good features of this product:1) The dry erase board erases easily (see the picture with the blank white board. This is after erasing it)2) The fabric seems like a rip-stop nylon, so it seems durable and sturdy3) It comes with a variety of photo cards and letters4) It is reversible (one side with the white board, the other side with clear plastic slots for the cards), and you can hang it up with the rope (included)5) There is room in the pouch pocket for all the cards and letters6) Comes with instructionsHere is what is NOT great about the product:1) When the product is set up in the triangular position, it sits upright by itself. This is good, but you can’t access the pocket with the cards in it in this position.2) Some of the photos on the cards are very odd, for example, the card for “wag” is a child who is waving. I would never consider that wagging, myself. The card which has the fancy hat on it is actually supposed to be used for the word “cap”. This is not what I would use–a ball cap would make more sense. In my photo you can see the instructions, and any with a question mark or a different word is one which I think is not a good fit.
