They actually fit comfortably, and are SO soft and luxurious!
After trying more masks than I can count over the years, I kept falling back on the Earth Therapeutics really soft , flexible, velour ones, with a silk liner. Others were also soft, but only these had a velcro closure for the two separate end straps that allowed a perfect fit. Most others have the one-piece straps with a sliding closure that would not allow a relaxed fit around the head. I had found the Earth Therapeutic masks at Bed, Bath and Beyond, who had stopped carrying them well before they closed their stores. After checking out various brands in other stores, I turned to Amazon, hoping I would find this brand here. While I couldn’t find the exact same Earth Therapeutics masks as the ones I’d had before, I did find these, which may just be an updated re-design, but had the same perfectly fitting velcro-closure straps, so I took a chance and ordered two. I was thrilled to find that not only do these masks fit incredibly comfortably around my head, but they also are just as soft inside, against my face and eyes (but do not put any pressure on the eyes). This newer design is actually superior to my previous ones, having an exceptionally soft, silky satin cover on the front, and slightly thicker, soft padding on the inside, designed to keep the mask from pressing on the eyes. This mask is wider and longer than most, fully covering the eye area and then some, to prevent light seepage. It feels luxurious, is beautiful to look at, and is easily washable (suggest washing by hand with a little shampoo, which gently removes face oil, while being gentle on the beautiful silk cover, and then, pressing in a towel to remove as much water as possible before simply hanging over a towel bar). These are by far, the most luxurious, comfortable sleep masks, ever, well worth the very reasonable price for such superior quality and design. I plan on gifting them to friends and family, as they are THAT nice!

Comparing 4 masks: Sweet Dreams,Dream Zone, Lewis N. Clark, & Lights Out
I have been using four different sleep masks over the last year and I am writing this review as a comparison. The masks are the Dream Zone-Earth Therapeutics Sleep Mask; the Lewis N. Clark Comfort Eye Mask; the Lights Out Contoured Sleeping Mask Black Out Sleep Eye; and the Dream Essentials Sweet Dreams Contoured Sleep Mask with Earplugs and Carry Pouch. All four of them are a vast improvement over sleeping without a mask, as I am quite light-sensitive. However, there are differences.I tried the Sweet Dreams Mask first and initially liked it a lot. The carrying bag is flimsy and I have better ear plugs than the ones they give, but the mask worked well. It is molded to the nose and eyes so you open your eyes without having your lashes brush against the mask. This seemed cool at first but really is not that important compared to other qualities. I used the mask every day for about four months, and was satisfied, although, as in most masks a little light come through around the nose. But then I noticed that it was coming apart. The layers of material were separating and I could see the mask was not going to last much longer. So I bought the other three in order to decide which worked best for me.The Lights Out Contoured Mask is also shaped around the nose and eyes. It did a very adequate job, and I probably would be more enthusiastic about it except that I felt the Dream Zone and Lewis N Clark masks were superior to it. Both of these have extra pillow material under the eyes, so they block out light better and are very comfortable. The Dream Zone mask is soft and pillowy throughout, with a satin exterior and soft cotton interior. It is incredibly comfortable, and I sink into sleep as it floats over my face. The Lewis N Clark also has those pillows under the eyes, and is a bit tighter fit with perhaps a tiny bit better light reduction. Both of these masks give me a great night’s sleep, and I alternate in thinking I prefer one over the other. Sometimes I switch back and forth from night to night. Meanwhile, I have brought the Lights Out Contour Mask to my office for when I take naps there, and the Sweet Dreams Mask is around as a backup, not having totally fallen apart yet.Update four years later: Over time I decided that the Lewis and Clark mask works best for me. The second time I ordered a Dream Zone mask the feel of the material was less comfortable and it did not last very long. There was the same fraying reported by some other reviewers.I now have three Lewis & Clark masks that I leave in different places I sleep or nap (bed, office, car), and have given them as gifts. I am very happy with them — they have given me consistent a good night’s sleep. And while I did have some of the staining originally, they do seem to have fixed that problem. I do not have it with my most recent purchase.

Never buying another brand again. Silky soft, adjustable strap, fits perfect and blocks out the light

Extremely comfortable
I love this eye mask – it’s very silky and comfortable to wear. It has a thin “pillow” that fits on your eye and while it may sound odd, it’s what helps actually block the light better and encourage sleep more. It’s easily adjusted with the velcro. I’ve bought several over the past 10 years and this style is the only one that works for me!

Very comfortable mask. The pattern on the outside is very nice and the material is soft. Feels comfortable when wearing it and completely blocks out any light. The head strap is adjustable.

Well here is the thing, the quality of the mask is really good and its super comfy, but headband is not.Its really uncomfortable and sometimes hurts the back of your head. I have to weak it on top of a sleeping cap to make it work but its one of those things to note. Also shipping time was a big pain.

It is a way bit costly for the material used. I had earlier bought CONYBIO and that was very good value for money.Ms USHA BHASKARAN
