Half this book is information, on using fasting, what to eat. Love the info.! The back half is recipes. They are done well. Nice pictures of the recipe. Some ingredients may be hard to find. Worth it! I gave it 3 stars cause some of the ingredients are hard to find, or just don’t like the food.

This book is fabulous. It is so well written and the photography is equally spectacular. I have been following Dr Mindy for a few years now and read and live by Fast Like A Girl. This book is an incredible resource! The layout and photos are beautiful and thoughtfully put together. Even if youâve read FLAG, ELAG is a must. The charts, lists, and recipes are all helpful and in color! Highly recommend! Dr. Mindy and her team did an amazing job balancing information with practical implementation. And the recipes! After loving and enjoying the recipes in Fast Like a Girl, pre-ordering this book was a no brainer. My body (and gut microbes) were craving more delicious healthy recipes. Iâve kept notes from your podcast and interviews over the years. To my surprise, this new book includes many of the all so important notes Iâve taken! Plus so much more content to help us on our journey. The recipes, muah! Love how you didnât make some recipes a 1 size fits all and have suggestions on how to make them hormone feasting, ketobiotic etc. Itâs rare for me to want to make every recipe in the book. But this book, challenge accepted! The pictures are just beautiful. Canât wait to recreate them on our dinner table. A very well, thought out book. If youâre on the fence about getting this book, jump over and order. You wonât be disappointed. Lastly, thanks for making this Christmas easy for me. Fantastic book! This is not just a cookbook, it is full of information, including the 30 day reset and what to eat coming off your fast. There are your staples in the recipes; broth, sauces and lots of delicious meals including some fantastic snacks and desserts. Meals to balance your hormones, stabilize your blood sugars and these recipes support a healthy gut. It’s a beautiful, colorful book. I love it! This will be one of my regular go to books.

I had been struggling with my body due to an injury and wanted to be in good shape and healthy after I passed the age of 40.
