**UPDATE: 2/26/21 – Just bought a second one â first one is still perfect & works 100% the same as Day 1; I bought a second so one is always handy at home or at our vacation cottage! This is the shortcut to a sleek, straight look for my long, wavy hair! Iâm amazed at how effective and fast it is to transform âbeach hairâ to âdate night hair!â Itâs a reliable and well-made appliance!
This is the second heat straightening brush that I owned, and what an improvement: I canât say enough good things about THIS ONE! Itâs far superior to any other one Iâve tried. The design is unique in that the heated bristles are more like rigid fins than hairbrush bristles, which is VERY effective on smoothing and straightening my hair into sleek plaits. I have medium-fine, sort of wavy/sort of straight long hair, and if I donât blow-dry it with a brush after washing or sleeping on it, it tends to look like a witchy mess. I usually wash it every third day and rely on dry shampoo for an in-between refresh, but Iâm impatient about the time and effort it would usually take to get âdate nightâ sleek hair using a standard flat iron (or my old $25 straightening brush from Sally Beauty) on a daily basis. This brush has changed my routine 100% because itâs so FAST! Iâve attached three photos, all taken after Iâd spent the day after sitting on the beach in windy, humid, ocean air â and the âfrizz effectâ was in full bloom. These pics were taken within minutes of each other when I went indoors to style my hair: âThe Beforeâ, Then â3 minutes in and one side doneâ, and âThe Afterâ â The whole process only took me about seven or eight minutes from beginning to end, including the time it took to heat the brush up to 410°, which is almost instant. The first day that I used the brush, I had an appointment with my hair stylist for a touchup on my highlights, and she was raving about how smooth and sleek my long hair looked. Sheâs been taking care of my hair for several years and knows how I normally arrive to the salon so her compliment was genuine â she even asked for the details on my new MiroPure Straightening Brush so she could refer it to her other clients. The bottom line is that this is a well-constructed appliance that does exactly what it promises, and I couldnât be happier with it⦠Worth every penny!! (Just to clarify, I give it three stars on drying power because thatâs not what it supposed to do. There is no airflow â I did use it on slightly damp but mostly dry hair once and the heat was enough to remove the remaining moisture underneath and around my neck, but I wouldnât rely on it for transitioning from wet hair, use a blowdryer first.)

The brush does exactly what it promises to do. I have long hair, medium thickness with a slight wave that I feel is unattractive. (I like straight or curly). I spray on some heat protectant, and then rough dry my hair which takes only a couple of minutes. Afterwards, I use this brush and in about three minutes, I have perfectly smooth, straight hair. This brush is not made to curl hair, however, I have no problem getting my hair to curve under with this brush, as I don’t like stick straight hair on me. It has saved me a good 20-30 minutes that it would normally take me to dry my hair smooth with a blow dryer. The brush gets very hot, so I suggest you play around with temperature settings and use the lowest temp that works for you.

Wish I had found this sooner
Full disclosure – I just received this and used it today for the first time. I have long, mostly straight hair. It does have a bit of wave in it and since it’s often in a ponytail there is often a crease on the back of my head. I also have a weird cowlick near the crown of my head. My hair is not thick or curly. I have been using a rather expensive flat iron until today. It literally took minutes to straighten my hair. Worked so much better and faster than the flat iron. I was stunned by how well it worked. Heats up super fast and takes no time for me to achieve the look I want. Now I see how durable and long-lasting it is…but for now I couldn’t be more pleased. And I do use a heat-protectant just as I did with the flat iron.

Absolutely great for girls learning to their own hair! My daughter is 11 and uses it with ease. It straightens her THICK hair wonderfully and with such ease. The handle doesn’t get hot, the way it’s designed it would be pretty hard to burn yourself. It heats up extremely fast great for when you’re in a hurry. It’s well made and very durable. One of the best purchases I ever made! So simple to use and love the results. I just started to flat iron my hair a few months ago. My hair texture is kinky/coily. Have you ever tried to flat iron your hair and use the comb to chase your section at the same time? My kinky/coily sistas know what Iâm talking about. Unfortunately Iâm not that coordinated. For girls on the go, this is a must have product. You can finish styling your hair within ten minutes. It imparts good volume and shine to your hair. Heat damage is less compared to flat iron. It should be used only on dry hair. If you are using it in India or European countries you will have to use a step down voltage converter 220 volts to 110 volts.

I got this product seeing the features section that it would work between 110v to 220v. But when I saw the product manual this works only at 120v..now I need 2 invest in a good voltage converter or I could have just purchased something that would work in India.. Please do not mislead.
