    Warm, big, and awesome door
Pops up easily. Gave up on putting it in the bag at the end. It comes with a strap to cinch it tight. I tow it behind my snowmobile in a covered sled anyway. The shack seems well made. I use a 9000 btu buddy heater and it got plenty warm when it was -20 wind chill. Roomy in there with grey interior and nets to keep your mittens. Having an actual door is the best thing I believe. This is my first ice shack. I have always just been in the elements. Luxury.

    Great shelter!
Got this after a purchase of a 650XD fell through. This this is giant!! I also have a 450. Each area inside is just slightly smaller than a 450, but the total area is huge. I’m 5’10” and my brother is 6’1″ he can stand in the middle of either, but we both have to duck a bit in the very middle.I’ve used it for 2 ice fishing trips and 1 winter camping trip. Held up great in the wind, I buy extra tie downs and anchors anyways. Had a green big buddy heater that kept it very warm while -7°F outside. Going to spray with sealer on the spring. It did rain a bit but, nothing really seeped in, I’m just cautionary. Did get some good condensation the first overnight run. Second time we used a fan and a PVC pipe for a vent under the skirt and it was way less. Just a thought. I would definitely buy it again… And I do get it to fit back into the bag every time.

Great for a winter camping tent
I bought this so I could go camping with my son in the winter. We slept in it 3 nights with no heat source and were warm and cozy with a good sleeping pad and winter bag. This shelter is well made and has lots of room. I plan to add a heat source to take it to the next level

    Not bad, could be better
The product is good. It does what it’s supposed to for the most part. I feel like it doesn’t hold the heat in that well. But it was big enough for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. Pretty easy to put up but not that easy to take down and get back into the bag. The video we watched the guy had a zip up bag which I’m sure would have been helpful but ours came with a just a bag that you somehow had to cram it back inside which is NOT easy! We fought with it for a while. So I rated it 4/5 it’s was good but could be easier to take down and put away. Also fairly heavy!

    Easy Setup Roomy Ice House
The Ice Shelter is easy to setup. Ensure that you have it fully spread out and then simply pull on the handle in the middle of each panel section. The light colored fabric on the inside of the tent makes it feel even larger. The insulated window covers are very durable. Heated quickly with a Big Buddy Heater.

250XDPros:Large enough fishing area to fit 2 large men and fishing gear comfortably (fish finders, minnow bucket, heater, small table). 3 can be comfortable with not as much gear.Lots of windows and velcro to keep the flaps out of the way. Windows are low enough to see your tip-up from a seated position.Full size door to the ice – what a handy feature – no more tripping over fabric walking in and out. Can pull your gear directly inside the tent on the sled on inclement weather days.Insulated, and grey interior for extra brightness.Mesh storage compartment for hat and gloves.Quality/value – heavy duty zippers that easily open and close; heavy duty fabric; high quality cinch bag for transport and storage.Cons:Is a bit heavy, but still manageable by 1 person.Fabric loops attached to ceiling could be a handy add-on feature to hang stuff from (its a bit annoying to use the ceiling poles).

We haven’t actually used this yet because it arrived in early October. We ordered it because last March we went ice fishing with friends and there were four tents, two being this model and we loved it.It is a great size lots of room for chairs, tackle, and multiple fishing holes. Easy to set up or move, easy to get in or out of, and very warm inside without condensation causing ice build up, which happened in one of the other tents.

there was a problem with the sleeves to the door so I spoke to aEskimo representative and after a couple of emails and videos they will replaced the unit I would recommend A++ customer service I would give it five stars but I found it a little bit heavy to maneuver for one person. You definitely need 2 people it would help . but other than that great product I would recommend.A++ and they stand behind their products in that aspect, I would give them five stars for customer service definitely

Set up tent in the house as soon as I received it. Everything looked good but I noticed the “Eskimo” logo on one of the inside storage pouches was sewn on upside down. Returned the tent to get another. $950 is too much to spend for that staring at me all the time.
