I have always had very dry skin, including my scalp. Always struggled with dandruff, no matter what shampoo I tried. I’ve also tried oils for my scalp but just found them to be too oily and inconvenient because I couldn’t leave it in since my hair looked like I hadn’t showered in 5 days. I had tried Eucerin lotion before for my eczema and liked it, so when I saw that they made a scalp formula, I decided to try it and see.I was surprised to find that the consistency was quite watery and made me wonder if it would even be effective or do anything for that matter. I am happy to report that it really controls the dryness and has completely eliminated any flaking. I’ve used this for 3 years now every day. If I skip a couple of days, I can tell right away. I put it directly on my scalp in rows from the front to the back of my head in damp hair after I shower. Due to the thin consistency, it spreads easily and do not need a lot. I rub it into my scalp while I blow dry and it leaves absolutely zero residue of any sort. It truly looks like I didn’t even put anything in, but does the best job in keeping the flakiness away and my roots healthy. I always keep this in stock at my house because I’d be lost without it! I would recommend anyone with mild flakiness to give this a try. I hope they always make this and never change the formula!

Both bottles arrived, no plastic wrap or safety seal on bottles. Both containers are the same product and smell different. I cannot return them either.

This review is long overdue! I’ve been using this scalp serum for 8 months and it literally saved my scalp and my sanity. I had a wicked case of seborrheic dermatitis that constantly itched and burned, and it had a terrible impact on my well-being and mental health.
