This makes a lovely gift book for not only children of all ages but for adults that appreciate cute illustrations. It’s a great way to show the recipient how much you care and love them. It’s full of encouragement and the illustrations add a warm and cozy feeling. The illustration theme is set in nature, the woods/forest/woodlands to be more specific, and full of woodland animals dressed in cute outfits, flowers, ferns, mushrooms, fireflies, each page filled with wonder. The illustrator: Cécile Metzger did a beautiful job bringing the heartfelt words of M.H. Clark to life. I’m very happy I purchased it.

I ordered this book for my cousinâs woodland animals-themed baby shower. We wanted to have everyone in attendance sign the front pages as a guestbook of sorts, and it worked out wonderfully!!
There is a brown watercolor tree pattern inside, but with a black felt tip sharpie pen we were able to write legibly over it with no issues. My sister read it to my 3 month old before the shower and we all enjoyed it, such a sweet but simple story. But my word, those illustrations are TOO cute! I wanted to hang several up on the wall of the nursery!
