Educational and fun to read
This is a great book for my almost 8 year old grandson. He picked it out. I have learned from this book and have found it very interesting. We sit and read it together and talk about the body and its function. He reads it alone and great for adults also.

Keeps my 6 year old entertained!
My daughter is six and she is an advanced reader. She showed interest in human body about a year ago. First human body book that I actually purchased for her (not borrowed from library) was DK publishing my first human body encyclopedia. It was a good introductory book. Since then, she read all the human body books from the local library, and I needed something new that she hasn’t seen (i pre-ordered this book) and something thick so that she could be entertained for long period of time. This book is full of colorful pictures, drawings and facts that are very interesting (even to adults). My daughters vocabulary is expanding and this book is worth every penny (On the side note, we also have “ultimate bug-pedia” by national geographic, but my daughter is not so into that book……)

Love it!
My daughter in law checked this book out of the library and my 4 year old granddaughter was obsessed with it. Every day, she would bring me the book and ask me to read it to her. I was really happy to find it on Amazon so she can have her own copy. The reading level is for a much older child, but it has great pictures and is a really good book to read to a younger child with an interest in science and the human body.

Great book for curious minds!
This book was a gift for my 5 year old grandson. He just started reading and he loves science! The book is colorful, and itâs written with easy to understand explanations and descriptions of the human body. Itâs definitely good for kids throughout Elementary school level.

Amazing, Colorful and Educational Book for All!!!
This is an amazing, bright, informative and educational book! My 9 year old twins always asks questions about the human body and now they can look it up in one place. National Geographic created a book that illustrates every aspect of the human body and includes amazing facts and tidbits that kids and adults alike would find interesting. This was a Christmas present that will keep on giving. I am glad that NG created this book, so that my children have a safe place to research the human body. (No obscene website or pics will pop up from an innocent search word)!!!!!

Reproductive Section
I bought this book for my 7 year old who wanted to learn more about the human body. It’s a little above her grade level, it’s probably more suited for a 10-year-old but she still enjoys looking through it and seeing the vibrant pictures. I think parents should be informed, however, that there are some pages on reproduction. Specifically, there is a part about conception and about the female/male reproductive organs. It gets pretty graphic with the terms. I just glued those pages together as I didn’t feel that my daughter was ready to read about that yet.

I bought this book for my daughter for her science lessons at primary school. She has been obsessed with the book. She uses the book as a reference book but it’s very fun and interesting to read. It’s a great addition to our National Geographic library. Highly recommend.
