This book is dangerously misinformed
Neither within the book itself, or on Amazon are the author’s credentials listed. Beware of an author who does not cite their credentials, particularly in the field of nutritional advice.This author has zero credibility because many of his or her recommendations are simply dangerously wrong and misleading for someone eliminating or reducing carbs.For example, under “Beans and Legumes” the author includes Lentils. However, one cup of lentils is 36 grams of carbs. That’s just one example. There are numerous other examples in the book that are simply wrong.The book was only 5 bucks, so not worth sending back. I don’t feel comfortable even giving it away to Good Will, so I tossed into the recycle bin.

While this book appears to be rather simple in format, the fact is, it renders a wonderful service. My wife and I went on the Keto diet several months back, and we found ourselves constantly looking at labels, trying to figure out what we can eat and what we can’t. It’s very helpful to have a basic checklist for each food group which leaves you free to decide which brand to buy! A good book to have for Keto dieters.

I was expecting a list of low carb keto foods with relevant details ie. amounts & carb units but it is just a list of foods you can eat on keto and even that isnât accurate. I would be ashamed to produce something so poor!

e.g. page 26, which is the last page, has 35 words and a 1 inch high picture of a milk bottle! Iâve seen more print in a primary one reading book. All material can easily be found on-line. Only positive is the little information there is is all in one place, the 26 page booklet.
