This is a companion book to “End your Carb Confusion” from Dr. Westman and the talented people who work with him. I started Keto in April of 2022 and have lost 35 pounds and gotten my blood sugars down to pre-diabetic, wonderful progress. Just ok
There are great looking recipes, some have “odd” ingredients: peri peri chilies (sub provided), smoked haddock, squid, fresh curry leaves, trout filet for example. Also, many recipes including condiments or sauces, with accompanying recipes. In other words, there are delicious sounding recipes but, between shopping for ingredients and prepping for the meal, these are mostly going to be rather time-consuming meals.My other complaint is the arrangement of the recipes. I wish each phase was grouped in sequence. Instead, I’m reading along and don’t realize a recipe I’d like to try is Phase 2 or 3.

This cookbook was a bit of a surprise for me. There are some very good recipes for sauces, etc but it seems the main focus was on all kinds of meat, including raw. I am not a raw meat eater so some of the recipes were not something I would consider. Lots of good explanations and photos.

The book was received plastic wrapped inside a bubble envelope so well protected.The book is well made and the colorful illustrations make the meals look so palatable ! The ingredients for most dishes are easy to find and stuff I already have in my kitchen. I am so glad I bought this book and look forward to enjoying these healthy dishes.

Best recipe book Iâve bought for keto / low carb. Love the pictures for every recipe. Clear guide to which phase 1.2.3. Most recipes are phase 1 which Iâm on to loose weight (I think most people are as Phase 2,3 are more for maintenance when youâve reached you goal weight) you could add extra ingredients if you needed to. Recipes are mouthwatering and easy which is what I needed. I love this book, bit pricey but well worth it.
