Best books
These books make it so easy to read my childâs level and understand how they should be advancing. We have a lot of levels and the kids enjoy reading them.

Get it
First grade they move a bit fast on the reading. My 6 year old was getting frustrated and started to not like reading. I bought these to help ease the transition to first grade. She loved them. Building her confidence up. She read one and said “reading is getting fun again.” She reads these and I read her library book from school to her, sometimes she helps with that also. Would recommend.

Perfect Start for Young Readers!
The “First Little Readers Parent Pack” has been a fantastic addition to our home library. As a parent of a 6-year-old who’s diving into the world of reading, these books are an absolute gem.The content is spot-on for his reading level, making it easy for him to read independently. The short length of the stories is just perfectâthey capture his attention without feeling overwhelming. Watching his excitement as he reads through these books has been truly rewarding. This purchase is not only a great investment in his literacy journey but also excellent value for the price. Five stars without a doubt!

Love these
My daughter has ADHD and confidence issues when it comes to reading. With these books, she doesn’t get bored as fast because they are short and she feels accomplished at the end of each one. I started with a lower reading level than she should be right now (2nd grade) because I want to build her confidence and transition slowly into the next level and then the next one so she hopefully doesn’t feel the jump from the easy level to where she struggles now. So far, it’s going great and I love these cute fun stories.

Great for young readers!
I got this for my son who was just going into 1st grade. He was a little behind in reading and I just wanted something to help catch him up. These stories have easy words for him to sound out and gain confidence. I also appreciate the tip sheet for parents, it had some advice I wouldnât have thought of without it. He now has an A in reading!

This delightful reading pack is perfect for young children. As a parent, Iâve found it incredibly helpful. Here are some highlights:Engaging Stories: The 25 books in this pack are designed to captivate young readers. They strike a balance between being interesting enough to hold a childâs attention and using simple language that aids in decoding words.Repetition and Patterns: The way these books are structuredâwith repetition and predictable patternsâprovides an excellent foundation for developing sight word recognition and sounding out words. Itâs a fantastic aide for early literacy skills.Independence: My daughter can now read almost all of these books by herself. The gradual progression in difficulty ensures that she feels accomplished as she tackles each one.Overall, the First Little Readers: Guided Reading Level D (Parent Pack) is a valuable resource for parents and educators alike. It encourages young readers to explore, learn, and build confidence in their reading abilities. Highly recommended!
Grey by my side –
My son is in grade 1, french immersion, and he was behind with his english reading especially after missing almost half a year of school due to the pandemic. Thankfully I bought “Teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons” – I highly recommend this book especially if your child struggles with reading and you don’t know where to start. After ~3 months of lessons he started reading the “Little Readers Level A.” He read each of those books at least 3 to 4 times each over about a 2 month period. At that point, he needed more of a challenge so I purchased this set (skipped levels B and C). He enjoys this set and it’s perfect for his level. Each book has about 3 sentences per page so it’s not overwhelming. Most words are easy for him but each page tends to have 1 or 2 words that are a little more challenging. The first thing he said was “These books are good!” The second thing he said was “I love this book” referring to the title “Hot Dog.” This makes me very happy because he doesn’t particularly enjoy reading. Make sure you keep the box to store the books.
