So I haven’t had to use this yet thank goodness, but I went carefully over this. It’s a decent kit that has what you need to stop bleeding in an emergency. Being a former FF/EMT, I don’t feel comfortable unless I’m carrying emergency supplies like this in the car. So I always keep a bag ready to go.It’s simple, kept in a sealable bag, and has what you need for basic emergency bleeding situations. Price is decent and the point is one use and then replace. When you have it with you, you have peace of mind. It’s a decent buy.

Worth The Price For The Peace Of Mind
I do a lot of forestry work when I am by myself (lately it’s been mostly Fire-Wising). As careful as I am, I know accidents do happen. I have always carried a big First Aid kit with me when I am using a chain saw. Now I also include the Bleeding Control Kit. The Hemostatic Gauze Pad and the Tourniquet might just save my life someday. Make sure to practice using the Tourniquet! It is an 8 step process!

Pricey — Hope we never need it
I gave this to my brother to bring along on his camping trip with his 10+ boy scout buddies. Fortunately, despite all of their shenanigans, they did not have to use it. It comes with nitrile gloves, gauze, and more to stop bleeding, but this is not a complete first aid kit — it’s just a kit for bleeding. You can get a much more comprehensive and complete first aid kit with more stuff for the same price.

Great first-aid kit for more heavy duty use, but seems overkill for home first-aid
This bleeding control kit is quite comprehensive, and is probably better suited for dangerous jobs like construction or probably other blue-collar workplaces.For home use you’re probably better off buying individual rolls of gauze and medical tape. I seriously doubt you’ll need the more specialized types of gauze here, but if you want industry-grade gauze, it reflects in the price.The main difference between usual gauze is the hemostatic pad provided in the patch. You can dress a wound with either, but hemostatic pads help with clotting if used properly.

Great, but pricey…
This is a great product to have on hand in case of an emergency. I keep it with my other first aid supplies in my trunk organizer. It is small and easily to transport. It is a complete set to stop bleeding. My only issue is the price. It seems very high for what you are receiving.

Pricey, But if Needed, Cost Doesn’t Matter
I haven’t needed this kit and I haven’t opened it and I hope to never have to. This is one of those things you hope to never need, ever. I am glad to have it though and it would have came in handy with an incident I was apart of a while back. You can never have too many 1st aid supplies and this is an excellent addition to your kit.

Hope I Never Need It – But I am Prepared
There are many activities where getting hurt does sometimes happen even though nobody ever wants that to happen. Whether it be driving in the car, working in the fields, shooting and hunting, or riding 4 wheelers the potential for a serious accident exists. This bleeding control kit is compact yet has all of the necessary tools to handle significant bleeding including a tourniquet, hemastatic gauze, and hemasealing trauma dressing as well as a large trauma pad. It even contains the pen to write the time the tourniquet was applied. Note that this kit does have an expiration date. The kit I received had 3 years of life when I received it. I also really like that the package comes nicely sealed so that you know if the bag has ever been opened. This is a well thought out kit that I feel better knowing will be close by in the event something bad ever happens.
