Great product. The best iron supplement
If you are anemic at all, this is your solution. The liquid is superior to the tablets but I’ve used both. The tablets are obviously better for traveling.The taste is not bad. It’s like a metallic prune or even rich grape juice. I would not drink a large glass but I can easily swallow a few ml without gagging or anything. And no constipation, at all.I like to take it a day or two before I stare my period because I’m a very heavy bleeder. If I start it before and continue taking it through my cycle, I feel as million times better.I also took it while I was pregnant because my iron is always low. It was night and day noticeable.Great product. Yes I highly recommend it!

And if you’ve read the long list of foods that inhibit iron absorption, then you’ll probably conclude, as I have, that this is best taken on an empty stomach, allowing an hour before eating anything.I’m happy to report that even with a GI condition that will not tolerate many foods, this has not caused any GI issues for me– apparently other iron supplement formulations are infamous for causing digestive issues.Best of all, it appears to work very quickly, as after only a week of taking it, my radically low ferritin levels jumped .4, which is quite amazing. A blessing in a bottle!

I’ve been looking for a good iron supplement! I’ve taken ferrous sulfate, gotten infusions, and tried other brands of iron pills. I was tried of continuously having low iron and going to the doctors. I was recommend floradix iron and already finishing my second bottle! I love that I have to take this supplement within the recommended 4 weeks because it forces me to take it. I haven’t been to the doctor to check iron levels so I’m not sure what they are. Yet, I honestly feel my iron levels are higher than before and refuse to believe they are not! I love that this supplement has iron along with other herbs and is vegetarian! The real reason I came to write the review is because I was shocked when I realized I did not have period cramps when taking this supplement!! I’ve never had that happen before using any other iron supplement and I don’t take any pills for period relief. I thought I was imagining things!! I knew it was true though because for two cycles I’ve taken floradix consistently for a few days before and during my cycle and experienced no cramps. This time around I haven’t been on the same routine and felt the cramps coming in. Once I felt the cramps I decided to take 15ml before going to bed. I woke up to no cramps and then I was fully convinced the iron was the cause of this. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience. I will continue to buy this or keep some around just for the sake of not having cramps!
