Personally, I’ve struggled to find a good position to use this for rolling out the muscles, so be prepared for a steep learning curve if you aren’t accustomed to using rollers, but the quality is great! It’s heavy, sturdy, and a great firmness for working on stubborn muscles.

This is a sturdy deep tissue muscle roller, seems well made! I love the color and that it’s lightweight. I’ve used it for my quads and glutes and it works well. Comfortable and easy to use. It’s quite effective for deeper muscle massaging & stretching.

I tried this foam roller, and while I found it helpful for loosening up my legs and arms after workouts, I did notice that if youâre on the bigger side, it might not be as effective for working out the knots in your torso and back. The roller can feel a bit too small or not firm enough to really target those tight areas. However, itâs still a nice tool for stretching and recovery, especially for smaller muscle groups.

I like the wavy texture of this roller. It offers a bit of pressure compared to completely smooth ones without being as intense as the “spiky” rollers.As always with a product like this, double check the dimensions are right for you / what you want as there is a lot of variety in length and diameter for rollers.

Good Roller for Deep Tissue Massage
This CINDALOG Foam Roller is my additional roller that I have in the bedroom my for post surgery rehab.At just 15″, it’s extremely stiff compared to the softer and longer foam roller that I use for PT that’s why I’m marking it down to 4 stars. It’s that PVC inner tube that gives it the stiffness as opposed to the high-density polypropylene foam roller that I’m used to at my PT sessions for my upper back and shoulders that I’m primarily targeting. If the inner tube flexed a bit, it wouldn’t be too bad. But it was actually hard for me to use and hopefully, it would be just a matter of adapting to this different type of roller for my upper torso.However, that stiffness and textured layer does provide deep muscle stimulation that’s great for my upper/ lower legs and the buttocks to relieve soreness and muscle tightness after my lower body exercises. Given that, my rehab priority is for my shoulder post-surgery that’s why I got this roller.At $29.99, it’s pretty fairly-priced considering the excellent quality of the product, nice packaging, and deep pressure massage functionality for targeting soreness. Just be aware that this stiff foam roller is not the same as the softer foam rollers used for PT.
