Easy to carry. Easy to pack. Easy to set up.
Itâs a very durable and versatile trap. The size is ideal for multiple configurations.The colors in my photos is off. The real color exactly as in the product shots.The logo is a too big, but on the olive green version it blends in.If you get it make sure you meld the ends of the paracord. They are already good to go but Iâd melt them again.I also would recommend buying an extra set of tent pegs. Again, youâre purchasing a tarp not a tent. So if you want more, get more. I think the four that come with it is plenty for most uses. I got more.The orange tent is an REI Trail Hut 2 as comparison. I set the arp next to it in a folded over config so that I had a ground sheet. Tons of room for one with all gear. Or for two (not sure about the gear though).For all you heroes complaining that you cannot get pack back in the bag⦠this is my 12 year old daughterâs tarp. She packs it alone and gets it done. Just for perspective.And if you think itâs too heavy: go to the gym. The weight really is appropriate for the size and durability. You can make you own super lightweight out of tyvek, but this one here is really good.I also would add a ridge line to you set. And yes, it will fit in the bag.Overall, we are really pleased with it and only give it 1 star because the delivery tuck had a smudge on the windshield. Just kidding. 5 stars. Good product.

Know what you’re getting…
This is an affordable, well made tarp that is very large, however you need to know what you’re getting. You are getting a camp tarp. You are NOT getting a backpackable tarp. This thing is extremely heavy, and I wouldn’t put it in a backpack for hunting or other hiking under any circumstances. But for camp it’s fantastic. I have not yet tested it, but I have other smaller tarps of this material and with the taped seams I can already tell that this is going to be 100% waterproof.

Storm proof
I used this Free Solder tarp last weekend hammock camping in the Allegany national forest and it worked great, my gear, dog remained dry and wind gust were not a problem. Great value too.

Awesome tarp!!!
I use this tarp for my hammock setup. I’ve had it for just over a year on several boy scout camp outs. It has held up very well through wind and rain. The tarp itself has never leaked. I got wet on our August 2024 campout in Missouri, but that was my fault. The gully washing, toad strangling rain storm came down so hard and fast that the water ran down my hammock straps, but not a drop came through the tarp. I wish they made a 12 x 12, cause I’d buy it!

Excellent Tarp
This thing is A beast. Great for all sorts of set ups. Feels really sturdy and not going to tear any time soon. A little on the heavy side but also like 1/10 the cost of an ULTRLITE tarp. Definitely worth it. Used it along side the OneTigris bug net tent in the last photo. Kept us dry all night from a steady light rain. (Lowered one corner to prevent pooling.)
