My PT recommended a foam roller for my torso & back exercises. I’ve had this foam roller for about 1.5 years now and it works great. The foam is pretty dense so initially, it was uncomfortable to do my stretches. Over time, I’ve either gotten used to it the foam density or the foam roller is working and I’ve become more flexible with less muscle tension. The foam roller has held up well & pretty much looks brand new after 1.5 years!I would recommend! Hope this review helps.

Compared to others this is a good one – better quality.
Whoa. This is rock hard. I didn’t expect that, so it doesn’t work for me. However, I ordered a different brand (yes 4 all) that was supposed to be soft-density and it was just as hard as this one, but with sharp edges and very rough ends. This Gaiam is far superior if you are in the market for a hard roller.

Decent foam roller but generates EXTREME static …
The foam roller came without any defects and had a great feel to it (not too hard and not too soft). However, it generated extreme static when used on carpet. You could see sparks! At least one other reviewer complained about this was well. Maybe good if you got hardwood or tile, but I have carpet so I ended up returning mine …
