Results are just fine – about what I expect from a dry shampoo, and no visible residue. However, the fumes when spraying were just overwhelming. It’s not that the scent is bad; that’s pleasant enough when dry. But I found myself having to apologize to my husband for trying this out while he was in the room. It was like walking into a cloud of hairspray. I’m not sure if all cans are like this or not.I may use again in a pinch, but only if I’m able to make that the last thing I do before leaving the room.

Best dry shampoo I’ve ever tried!
I bought this dry shampoo because I read about it in Good Housekeeping. My other tries with dry shampoo were disasters, leaving a white residue on my hair that also felt thick and unnatural. When I used Garnier Invisible Dry Shampoo there was no residue at all. My hair felt soft and clean, no thickness or white left over. I wore it all day and at the end of the day it was still nice looking and not flat. This is a superior product for around $10 that I will continue to use every other day. It is a relief not to have to wash my long fragile hair every single day anymore.

Overpowering scent
Well, the product works pretty okay, but the scent is too strong for me. I had to wash my hair to get the scent out. I find all Garnier products to have an overpowering scent. I’ll try something else, but it works okay.

Invisible, and works great overnight
I’ve never tried a dry shampoo that works on my hair. I have very thick hair, and when it gets oily, it’s a lot less hassle to wash it than to spray white powder on every inch of my scalp and rub it in. Garnier’s dry shampoo is the exception. It’s so easy to use, and it works great!I’ve tried using this dry shampoo in a couple of different ways, and the way it works best on my hair (probably because of the thickness) is to spray it on before bed. Tossing and turning throughout the night must help distribute the oil-absorbing powder, because when I use it that way, I’m able to extend my wash two days! When I spray it on in the morning, rub it in, and brush it through, I’m able to extend my wash one day. Either way is appreciated, but I wanted to share my overnight tip with those of you who have lots of thick hair.Also, I love the smell. It smells like yuzu, very floral and very light. It’s refreshing and not overpowering, and since my shampoo and conditioner I use smell like the tropics, it fits right in with the scents already in my hair. I recommend trying out this dry shampoo if you’ve never found one that works or if you’ve never used one at all. It’s a great one to start with because it’s invisible. There’s no dry white powder you have to worry about. Instead, the invisible spray is actually a little “wet”, and as it dries, it stays invisible and soaks up your oil.
