Very sturdy
Beautiful packaging suitable for a gift. Very easy to load a conventional reel and it works easy on a spinning reel( takes a minute to insure no twists)Would buy again.

It does the trick. However, in my opinion, it could use some improvements. My first spool was onto a 200 series bait caster. It worked well until I needed to remove some line because it wasnât spoiling even (not likely this devices fault). The handleâs knobs kept falling off while I rewound the line. I tightened them down a few times. The second spooling was onto my 8000 series spinning reel. In my opinion, the reel and spindle are simply too close for the larger spinning reel. In both cases, I found it very difficult to hold the line in order to put tension it while spoiling. I think that a little extra distance between the reel and line would help. Iâd also consider one guide to help control the line. The handle could be a little longer as well. Even with these comments, the device works slick and isnât junk. My issues might be self inflicted because I prefer to hold the line with a wet cloth while spoiling.

Worked excellent. Just make sure you don’t over tighten on spool. I adjusted it to larger spool of 50lb test to line up 2 reels.Much faster than conventional ways and could be used on the go while on the water. if that need should come up for any reason.

Best spoiler I ever bought
This spoiler is very easy to use on both bait caster and spinning reels. The size is compact and is very easy to use, the spoiler keeps tension on the line through the spooling processVery well made !

Beats a pencil through the spool!
Worked very well after I figured out how it works. I like that the tension on the feeder spool is adjustable by bringing the rubber spool holders in a little tighter.. would recommend to friends.

Does not work as advertised!!!
Watch their video, they placed the spool in between the two jaws and squeeze it together, and itâs supposed to hold the spool to spool it on your real. I just got this set up today and opened it five minutes ago and placed a spool in the jaws and the jaws Keep flipping back open by themselves. I suspect yours will probably do the same. So Iâm giving this a one star and Iâll let you know if you want to use the respooling option to collapse the jaw, I havenât tried it yet, but Iâm sure that it would probably work that way but itâs not working the way it supposed to and I canât see with all the metal gears inside the unit if the one I received wonât hold it yours will have a short story if it does work, I canât see it working for anybody. Itâs not worth the money, you be better put in a pencil between your toes and spooling it off the spool. I have to admit I havenât tried the respooling function yet. And by the way reading from their instructions, this is what it says. This is a high quality fishing line winder, and no screws are required for disassembly and assembly so that it is very convenient to use and carry!Update: Gave it to a friend instead of the trash can and he opened it up and found cheep gears. The gears were all junk and thatâs why itâs FAILURE to work. I would bet yours will break soon after you get yours. Funny thing was the seller offered a refund I never saw. My bad cuz I knew I could return it with out their offer.
