Perfect for my Shine dance fitness workouts!
I love to use Shine dance fitness routines however exercising in my living room on our carpet was not ideal. Due to the thickness of the carpet my moves were sluggish and I was breaking down the carpet fibers and it was ruining our newly laid carpet. I wish I would have bought this exercise mat years ago! They have so many sizes itâs easy to find the perfect fit!!! I chose a routine that used the most space and marked how far I would move during my workout then measured how big of an area it was afterwards. Itâs perfect bare foot or with socks. Adequate thickness â¦not too thin but also not too thick that I âsinkâ in too much and canât quickly move onto the next motion. this mat also worked great in our basement. We have concrete flooring with thin carpet over top and the concrete was too hard on my feet and knees but this mat provides enough cushion that working out is finally comfortable!!! Highly recommend this product and this company!

Thick, cushiony, and the perfect size
Wow. This is the BEST mat I have ever purchased for exercising. It is super thick and cushions my feet for my bellydance sessions that can cause fatique in both feet. It also shields me from the cold of my garage floor while allowing me to lie down for floor work. The 9′ x 6′ mat is perfect for dance, stationary work, and for any exercise that requires cushion or shock absorption. It is very much like a sticky mat but a LOT thicker. The quality is AMAZING.

Works perfectly. We wanted a large mat for a dedicated workout area in our den, which has hardwood flooring. It rolled out beautifully, is nice and thick-feeling underfoot without being bulky – approximately 1/4″ thick. No unpleasant odor. We have both an erg and a stationary bike sitting on it, with room to spare for mat work. The color is a nice deep blue, not too bright and not too dark. I wanted a color alternative to black, but didn’t want anything flashy – this works great. When doing mat exercises on it my back feels fine, no additional cushioning needed. It beats my old yoga mat, that’s for sure. Love that there are so many sizes available, allowed us to customize the sizing to fit the area we needed without placing a ‘custom’ order. Carry straps and workout towel were nice extras. Company reached out several times during the ordering process and after delivery, to ensure we were satisfied and didn’t have questions. All in all we’re very pleased with the product.

I purchased the 9′ x 6′ x 8mm Extra Thick workout mat that was delivered on November 16. This product is a very high-quality mat and is working great for my stretching routine. It comes tightly rolled up in a carefully wrapped package. I put the mat on my hard laminate floor and because of the thickness of this mat, it is very soft when lying and stretching on it. On Black Friday, I noticed that the mat was $80.00 less than what I paid for it only a few days prior. I contacted the seller and immediately received a polite response thanking me for the purchase and informing me that they would refund me the $80.00 difference. Great product and a great company. 10 stars for this company and this mat!

I have a very tiny room (9 ft x 9 ft or so), so I wanted to make my space more multi-purpose. So I ordered this mat to serve as both my yoga mat, and as extra padding for a folding floor mattress I bought (not pictured as it has yet to arrive).Overall, I am pretty impressed. It fits the specific dimensions I needed for my space nearly perfectly. It seems like high quality, and is very comfortable to step out of bed onto.My one complaint is that the “Oasis Blue” mat I recieved is a significantly darker (and bluer) shade of blue than the picture leads one to believe, and kind of messes up the aesthetic I was aiming for. If you look at some of the listings for other sizes of mats by this company, there is a “royal blue” color that more closely resembles the mat I received.

*UPDATE*I didnât know it, but Iâd been working out on the wrong kind of mat! I mistakenly ordered & used the one for barefooted activity & it fell apart. I reached out to Gorilla Mats when it started to disintegrate & they told the mat I had wasnât designed for heavy-duty use with shoes. I felt sheepish for ordering the wrong mat, but their customer service was next level. Thanks to Zach for sending me the correct mat & fixing my honest mistake. The concession was an offer for 10% off, which actually ended up being the same as the lower Amazon price anyway so it didn’t feel like much of a concession at all for what I consider to be a luxury item. Now I see that the PRICE SHOT UP DRAMATICALLY, and guess when that happened? Exactly when COVID started. It was almost double at one point last month. Sadly, the mat is really great, wish the company stood by their advertising and didn’t take advantage of a bad situation.
