I have been buying Gum brand travel toothbrushes for years at local drugstore & big box stores. Then, I couldnât find them for the last 4 yrs. Good thing I bought 2 extra when I could. They always cost a little more than other brand name & store brand travel toothbrushes. But they are worth paying a little extra. The Gum travel toothbrush uniquely folds & unfolds for portability. The plastic & folding joints are sturdy. The bristles are between soft & medium but not too stiff – they donât fall out, bend over after one use, or when inserting in the holding space. Toothbrush folds compactly to about 1/2 the size of an adult toothbrush. It clicks quietly into place & holds in place open or closed. Case keeps the brush neat & clean for the journey. Iâm so glad to find these again!

Itâs opens up to be a very similar size and shape as a normal toothbrush but folds to half the size. When folded, the bristles are protected inside of the toothbrush handle and there are vents to allow the bristles to dry. Of course, itâs not as sturdy as a regular brush, but itâs great for travel because of its size and minimal weight.

I got these toothbrushes when we got aligners because we needed to brush our teeth more often while on the go. It has been so convenient to have a toothbrush that stays clean and is small enough to fit into my purse so that I can use it while out of the house.My main toothbrush is electric, so Iâm not as concerned with getting every crevice in my mouth. But it is great to have this for after coffee or eating out. When you flip the toothbrush out, it is a little flimsy, but It doesnât seem to affect the performance. I keep a travel size toothpaste with me and it really makes it easy to brush anywhere. Now that I have this I will probably continue to use it even after I am done with my aligners.We also got the Colgate wisp toothbrushes and 10 out of 10 times Iâd rather have the travel toothbrush instead.

I don’t look for anything fancy in a travel toothbrush. I just want somewhat softer bristles and compact so it can fit in any sized bag I place it in. This is perfect. It’s a 2 pack in different colors so my husband and I each have one and there is no confusion on which brush belongs to who. I can toss it in my carryon or backpack when traveling and it takes up virtually no room. The softness level is what I was looking for and it’s easy to hold and fold. Perfect.
