Exactly what I needed
These straps serve their purpose well. I have been using these about 6 months with heavy barbell weights and they have no sign of wear. You do need to hold the strap around the bar, but I personally like thisâ it provides all the support (grip and less stress on hands and forearms) needed and allows you to open your hand and drop the bar when needed without it taking you down along with it. If you want something that allows the bar to simply hang from your arms, get wrist straps with lifting hooks instead of this.
UPDATE 1.5 yrs later: still able to make use of these straps. They have began to wear down and fray on the sides but still usable and Iâd still say they are well worth it for the price! Will be using as long as I can
