This review is long, LONG overdue.I picked up my first HB “purple” set at Target back in 2020. This has been the only shampoo and conditioner I’ve used since. As a lifelong blonde, I’m always on the hunt for a good purple shampoo and this is the one! The smell is amazing (like a soft coconut vanilla) and the pigment keeps my highlighted hair properly toned. This is THE best purple shampoo set I’ve ever encountered. Target foolishly stopped selling it in my area so now I have to order it here so I hope they stick around because it’s the ONLY brand I trust. Thank you HB!!!!

While the purple shampoo does a good job brightening grey hair, it does leave it very dry.

First wash
First time using this today. One: I need to keep my curls. Two: my gray hair must not be yellow or dull. Both were met with one wash. Will update if I have any issues. (I tried to get natural light in both pics) And! Itâs soft! My detangle comb had no problems going through this mass of hair. And the package was not an issue.Update: my hair is shiny and no dull/yellow color. The last two pics are hours after the wash. Using heat serum and high heat this was the result.Iâll use this again. (Hope this helps someone.)
