My kids absolutely LOVE this book series!!!
I have a thirteen year old son and two little girls (ages 3 & 1). My son reads this book to them all the time. They absolutely love the Harry & Friends book series. My wife and I find these books to be very worthwhile as they are packed with strong messages like perseverance, goal setting, and overcoming life obstacles, etc. The kids love these books and as parents we are happy to have them in our home library. We ALL can’t wait for the 4th book in the series to launch soon. 🙂

Harry and his friends decide to compete in an obstacle course. Before Harry competes, he envisions that it would be easy for him, but he quickly finds out that itâs actually difficult resulting in him wanting to give up. During the course of the challenge, his friends encourage him to keep trying. The moral of the story is to be successful, we all need a strong support system behind us. This is another wonderfully written story by none other than Sarah Beliza Tucker. Also, the illustrations are spot on as well!

The author did an excellent job in helping children understand that confidence, perseverance, and patience will help any situation and help you accomplish your goals. This book teaches such an important lesson for children. Children are faced with obstacles everyday and often times, if theyâre not good at it the first time their instincts are to give up. Perseverance is a such a valuable lesson we can teach our children. This book does a wonderful job of demonstrating this lesson.

Attending the party after his new friend Rickyâs black belt ceremony, Harry struggles to finish the monkey bars in an obstacle race. With encouragement from his friends, though, he learns to keep trying and not give up, and is soon feeling very proud of himself!With bright illustrations, fairly simple text, and a good lesson included, this is an enjoyable and educational series for young readers.
