Absolutely Amazing! I will use this product forever. I just ordered it and received it in the mail today. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about it, especially once I opened the bottle and saw the color. It looks absolutely gross and doesn’t quite smell the best either but it gives you an amazing shave.Here is what I didJumped in the shower, cranked the heat up so it was really warmPoured a quarter sized blob into my palm and vigorously scrubbed for 30-45 secondsRinsed my head and shaved as normalOne huge benefit I noticed was my razor blade didn’t become clogged like usual. Typically I use Gillette Fusion blade to shave, I like to get as clean as a shave possible so I splurge and spend the extra on these blades. The biggest problem I have always had especially with these blades is that they become clogged so easy. I would always build up this white gunk in my blade that the hair would get all trapped in. I always assumed it was extra dirt or oil because I typically wash my head with soap before I shave but not I believe it was just dead skin. This causes my razors to kick the can after one and half shave sessions. Not any more, my razor was clean and didn’t clog with hair at all. It was amazing.In addition to the the overall feeling after this shave is just amazing. I really can’t describe it but my head just feels so clean and fresh compared to before I used this product. Not to mention my razor was able to get so much closer for a much better shave.This product is hand down amazing, and it is now and forever will be a staple to my shaving routine.HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND, unless you don’t like getting the cleanest, smoothest, most satisfying shave, then don’t by this stuff.

Extreme Exfoliating Scrub Weird Smell
This scrub does what it is supposed to do and exfoliates your head incredibly well. The part that exfoliates your head is the ground up walnut shells. Most head scrubs use those tiny plastic beads which will eventually clog up your shower. I love that this product uses ground up walnut shells because they will eventually dissolve in the plumbing of my home. The smell is definitely not what is advertised. The smell is not bad but it is not good either. I wish the smell was more a tea tree like scent instead whatever weird scent it is supposed to be.

I started shaving my head last year and found that weekly exfoliating left my chrome dome feeling rejuvenated and shiny. The instructions say to exfoliate before shaving, but I’ve found that it only makes a little difference. In fact, it’s easier to shave and then exfoliate because then it’s a quick hop into the shower to rinse it all off. Then, get out, towel it off, and start signaling low-flying aircraft.Be sure to close your eyes while rinsing off. You won’t like the sensation of ground walnut shells in your eyes.

I use all of their products, have done so for about a month. This cleans the surface, and you are ready for even closer shave with the shave cream.

Not for daily use IMHO
Some of head shavers can shave daily, others have to give the scalp a rest time, I’m one of those who has to let my scalp rest from the blade with around a 3-4 day cycle. Even with this product, shaving more frequently than that results in some unpleasant side effects that I prefer to avoid. However using it every 3rd or 4th day has completely nullified the bumps and scales that I otherwise had to contend with, as one can imagine after 3-4 days you got a fair bit of stub to shave off and this lotion not only mitigates the previously mentioned issues, it also softens the stubble to where my shaving is much smoother and closer. I use this along with the shaving cream by Headblade and have often been complimented on how clean and healthy my scalp looks since having used it regularly.I found another use for it that I am very fond of in that I frequently have bouts of dry skin flaking around my mouth and at the bridge of my nose, here I use it every other day to exfoliate my skin those areas and it has done wonders for those regions of my skin keeping it clear and flake free. For all the good to say about it, it is a bit pricey, what I’ve done is add a little water to the solution to extend its use a bit. Its not much of a gain, about 20-30% I’d say, but it makes the price of the product more tolerable and I continue to repurchase it when I run out.

Love this stuff!
I don’t feel the need to write reviews on everything I use, but this one deserved an exception. I bought this the first time a few years ago, and it’s so much better than other alternatives. My wife has a number of other exfoliants that I have tried (usually when I run out of this), and nothing else seems to compare.The smell is nice, but that is not important to me. The thick scrub just really works well at sloughing off dead skin and prepping your head for a shave. I generally only use this once, maybe twice a week in the shower prior to shaving my face and head. I also use HeadShed on the areas of my face that I don’t shave. I love the way that my skin feels, and my head seems to be much shinier afterwards (which I like). After using it, I feel like I get a closer shave, and less razor burn. The funny thing is – after using this before shaving and heading to a party, my wife was told how good the skin on my head looks.While this was out of stock due to a production delay, I tried several other scrubs made for men who shave their head. There is no comparison. This is hands-down the best scrub Iâve tried and Iâm hooked.

Iâve used other exfoliating products before but this one gets down to business and gets the job done. Iâve been having trouble with my bald scalp for a long time and nothing seemed to work very well at dealing with the dry flaky skin. This feels like itâs doing exactly what it claims.
