EASY
After reading this it gave me enough get up and go to get back on my treadmill after being off of it since about November. I also did some of the exercises in this book. I only did 2 MPH for 10 minutes (I could have gone longer, I did not want to over stress myself HA). My goal is much higher, I will get there. My puppy Jasmine also walked on the treadmill. I was totally amazed how simply and easy the exercises in this book are. I am 75 years old, If I can do these most of you all will be able to as well. Come on everyone get going. Thank you Aleisha.

Great ideas to keep moving
The more I read this book, the more I like it. As someone who does not exercise a lot, I like that the author suggests a lot of actions you can take to simply get moving. It could be as simple as small exercises you can do while waiting in line or when you go marketing. She doesn’t believe in “No pain, no gain” and as far as she is concerned, special equipment for fitness is optional. In fact, random stuff around the house can be used,The book is divided into four main chapters, ie.1. Balance and coordination2. Flexibility and mobility3. Muscular strength4. Aerobic capacity and endurance.I will be going through this book again to pick out those ideas that I might possibly start with. There are 300 exercises to explore!K. Aleisha Fetters is an internationally syndicated fitness writer and strength coach so I feel reassured that she knows what she is talking about!Thank you NetGalley and Adams Media for the chance to read this title. This is my honest review,

Useful tips
This is an easy to read, intuitively designed and written, set of small recommendations to incorporate movement into one’s daily life. There are suggestions for weightlifting, resistance band work, calisthenics, and just plain doing daily tasks but with purpose. Nothing new or surprising, but a useful reminder to be mindful about how we physically move through life. As example, there is a tip for doing foot stability exercises while standing whether in line, at a sink, or on the phone.

Every excuse to not get in better shape and live a healthier life becomes a blah, blah, blah when you see all these FREE and EASY ways to move around in life with a ‘fitness consciousness.’ The steps are in diagram form. You don’t need ANY equipment except your amazing body! What I didn’t like: K. Aleisha Fetters took all my excuses away without warning me.

Here’s the thing – nothing helps you enjoy life than being healthy. Or in another way – nothing makes life suck than being unhealthy. And while being the paragon of fitness may not be a goal you can achieve (or even want), increasing your overall level of fitness can make a huge difference. So at the end of the day, the real thing to figure out is how to incorporate enough changes into your life to increase your level of fitness. That’s exactly what this book does. It’s not pitching you some stupid cult-approach or abusing science to sell something that doesn’t work… it gets down to what matters: change this one little thing, notice that one other thing, think about another thing, and add them all together, and you get something where the whole is more than the sum of the parts. If you want something no-nonsense, getting this book is a no-brainer.
