Mary Anne Richards –
a good visual of the growth we made
Remember these kids do not even remember the space shuttles. This book allows them to see the steps in space exploration without the sci fi version..

Very helpful
I homeschool my son and next year planned on our science studies to revolve around space, astronomy and human history of space explorations. We are starting when mankind was first looking up at the sky in caveman days to modern day long ranging satelites sending back their data from far away. I think this nice “coloring/informational” book is going to be a big help and make it more interesting with the activities I have looked at in the book so far.

Great combination.
I love the combination of pictures to color and history of the space program.

From a Teacher
I used this coloring book during our section on space and the kids really enjoyed it. It gives some good information, however I would have liked the descriptions to be a bit shorter and more succinct. Considering it’s a coloring book and presumably make for small children the descriptions tended to be a bit over their heads. That being said it began some wonderful discussions and raised new questions, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Everything is pretty much either black or white.
