Good story
4 sisters and their mother begin this series. The girl’s mother has recently deceased, and the 4 girls have been brought together to settle the estate.Kate is the oldest, widowed with two children and has been named the executor of the estate.Megan is just starting a divorce with a teenage daughterAmelia is the struggling New York actress/waitress. Always in strange relationshipsMegan is the brooding sister whose marriage is on the rocks; one teenage daughterClara is the youngest, a teacher; former caretaker of sick mother; the only one currently living in Birch Harbor. When they all come together at the lawyers to read their mothers will, they find more than they ever bargained for. And that was just the beginning. They need to get a handle on all of this and how to cope with their own personal struggles. An entertaining book but a bit drawn out at times. It’s about secrets, mysteries, family, forgiveness and love. I look forward to the next book.

Four sisters who just lost their mother
Sisters gathered to see their mom buried. They needed to get the will read, and see how things are to be distributed. That did not work out well. The sisters really loved each other. They didn’t want to upset anyone. But when one sister is left out, it hurts. This is another amazing story. The girls stand together. This is a story of love and caring.

Enjoyable!
After the death of their mother, the four Hannigan sisters, Kate, Amelia, Megan, and Clara, are gathered for the reading of her will. It seems the youngest sister, Clara, wasnât mentioned in the will at all, which shocks everyone. There are also questions about some of the items the other sisters inherited. As they attempt to find out why Clara wasnât included in the will and how they can come up with a solution to give her a fair share of their motherâs estate, they start searching through their motherâs property and personal belongings, looking for clues that might shed light on this predicament. Their father is also still missing. They find more questions than answers.A story of family secrets, new beginnings, growing together as a family, new friendships, and new love interests. Not all questions are answered so you would need to read the next book in the series to hopefully get those answers.

Heartwarming and Captivating
This was the first book Iâve read by Elizabeth Bromke and Iâm hooked! Well written and captivating. It is the story of the relationship between 4 sisters, secrets that come out when their mother dies, sorting out relationships with the men in their lives, and navigating how to move forward. I found the characters delightful and compelling, and the story was heartwarming and emotional. I look forward to reading more of her books!

Great Read
This book is a good depiction of a family of girls and issues that arise from childhood into adulthood. The story line is solid as the time settings and the characters are believable.
