Hands-on fun science book
This science book is excellent! It is perfect for my 7 year old science lover with help, but my 3 year old loved taking part in the activities too. The book has fantastic human body illustrations and hands on activities that are FUN. Take a moment to check out the preview of the book on Amazon where it shows the salt dough bone activity/experiment. This is one example activity which allows children to explore more about the skeletal system and get a better understanding of how bones break. My kids enjoyed making the bones, then once hardened dropping the âbonesâ from upstairs to down, trying different angles and impact speeds. This activity prompted a lot of valuable discussion about fractures and more complete breaks. While an older child could do these activities mostly independently, I greatly enjoyed doing them alongside my children. We still have many activities ahead of us to look forward to. This is a human body science book to add to your childrenâs home library or to donate to a library or school. Love it!

A Wonderful Learning Tool and Fun For The Whole Family
Easy to understand and does not talk down to kids. Dr. Choi gives us so much information about the body and makes it interesting and relevant. I read it and learned new things as well and am excited to gift it to my grands and also to my daughter who is a pediatrician. I have put together a box with some of the “tools” needed for the experiments. Was so glad for that list at the beginning. I think they will have fun with the experiments and they will be great to do as a family too. It is truly an amazing book.

Must have book for children to learn about their bodies!
I love how this book written with children in mind! The explanations are detailed, yet easy for children to understand all the complicated body parts and processes. The best part is the creative activity and craft ideas that really make learning about the human body so engaging and fun! I love the little notes for the children where Dr Betty shares helpful tips on how to take care of their body. Highly recommend this book to all parents who want to help your children learn more and appreciate their amazing bodies!

Wonderful book!
Written by a pediatrician, this book is accurate, with just the right balance of details and big picture. The activities are amazing and unique as compared with other childrenâs books about the human body. They provide such wonderful opportunities for children and adults to do arts and crafts and science together – and this is such a nice way to engage children with a diversity of learning styles. I loved the safety and wellness tips as well! What a wonderful book! I canât wait to keep sharing it.

Both visually and mentally stimulating
Wow! Who knew you could break down the mechanisms of the body to such simple terms. Finally a visually and mentally stimulating book that thinks out of the box with new creative and fun ways to teach our kids. It also focused on the actual important things we donât talk about with our kids and how to make it easy for them to understand. This book held my attention and kept me reading through the pages before I gifted it to my niece. The perfect and much needed addition to your kids library, you wonât be disappointed.

Great for kids and adults alike!
Even though this book is for kids, I also learned so much through the clear and informative writing, inclusive artwork, and creative activities. I appreciate that this book encourages a healthy introduction to the human body, and provides many ways to talk about health, wellness, and people in general with my child (currently an infant, but I can’t wait to try the craft ideas with him as he gets older). This is a book I would have loved to have as a kid! Makes a great gift that will keep on giving.

My 6 yo loves this book! It really sparks her curiosity to learn more. The content and the activities are all presented in a kid friendly way. The activities feature a lot of recycle materials and common materials that can already be found in the home so that nothing needs to be bought to complete the activities and experiments. The photos and images are clear, concise and showcase a diversity of children. My 6 yo has been requesting this book as her bedtime story almost every night. She loves it!

Bought several copies for my grandchildren, and they have been reading it every day. I am also have fun learning along with them! The book helps us understand whatâs happening is of our body and why we need to take care of it. It would be helpful if schools had this book, too.
