I’ve been taking the ISDIN supplements for a few months now and I don’t know if it’s because I’m also taking them with collagen supplements but I do notice a difference in my skin. I have adult acne however with these supplements my skin has cleared and has a nice glow. These supplements are pricey and I went a month without taking them and I have to say I did notice the difference when I stopped. Overall, I am pleased with the results so far.

Helps me prevent sunburn
My dermatologist recommended that I take this product each morning before sun exposure. While this product is not meant to be a sunscreen, I believe that it helps protect my skin from the sun. I also use topical sunscreen SPF 30 when in the sun, but I know there have been days on Caribbean beaches when Iâve forgotten to reapply my sunscreen yet my skin doesnât burn even after all day in the sun. So Iâm lucky that this product seems to protect me when I forget to reapply topical sunscreen.

It’s a bit difficult to give an honest before/after as without a lab, the results could take years to see with the naked eye. However, the Polypodium plant has been shown in several studies to help fight the free radicals that damage our DNA, and many of the participants of those studies do report fresher, healthier-looking skin. Feel free to check PubMed for the literature. The only negative is that I would urge ALL sunscreen pill makers to please add “This pill DOES NOT take the place of a topical sunscreen.” I wish they would make it clear that this is only a supplement to a healthy skin regimen and does not stop damaging UVA/UVB rays penetrating the skin. If you take this pill and do not protect your skin with a topical sunscreen, all you’re doing is wasting 45 bucks and allowing sun damage and possibly melanoma to develop on your skin. Other than that, most of the ingredients make sense since many are anti-oxidants and, at a minimum, you’re getting some good vitamins and minerals.
