This shelter came so quickly. It took my husband 15 minutes to put together. It’s the purr fectsize for our 2 outdoor cats. They love to sit on top as well to look around. I hope they winter there well. It is very nice to look at and seems sturdy. This company was very quick to respond to a hiccup I made. Excellent customer service.

Easy to assemble, good size, nice features
A group of us who volunteer at our local SPCA organized a project to provide shelters for a neighborhood doing its best to care for a lot of outdoor cats.After looking at plans and pricing out materials for “scratch-built” shelters, we realized that these kits would be much faster and easier, and even cost less. They’re super-easy to assemble — one person can do it in 10-20 minutes with just a battery-powered screwdriver — and not too heavy for one relatively fit person to carry short distances, but don’t seem flimsy.We took out the plexiglass window and re-used those screws (which need a screwdriver with a small bit) to install another curtain of clear vinyl cut into strips — like the one already installed at the door — to provide an emergency exit, then filled both compartments with straw for extra warmth and to hopefully accommodate multiple cats per shelter.The ramp should enable kittens and older or injured cats to access the shelters, and the hydraulic cylinders work well to keep the roof open when desired and allow it to close easily.As other reviewers have noted, a battery-powered screwdriver is very helpful, and the floor panel does seem to be plain plywood, not insulated like the sides and roof. Several of the kits did have some slight damage to the ceilings where it appeared that other pieces had been pushed into them during shipping, but all were functional.I would totally recommend these to anyone looking to provide shelter for outdoor cats.

Great price – decent size, some flaws
A small group of us who volunteer for our local spca fundraised for 12 shelters which we donated to a local trailer park that weâve been doing tnr at since the summer.We priced out the materials to construct our own which would have been about $30 more with significantly more time and labor. We purchased them when they came up with a $20 off discount code.The basic design and size is decent, however there are a few flaws. A cat shelter of this size needs an escape door. We replaced the plexiglass window with a vinyl flap. The floor is not insulated at all, and feels a bit flimsy. We added straw which is an excellent insulator.The set up is otherwise really nice but as far as long term durability goes, itâs hard to say. It says insulated but the walls donât feel overly thick but we think there is something, not sure what between the thin inner and outer wood sections.We used cordless drills to put it together though it comes with a nice little mini screwdriver. The best parts of the design are the nifty folding ramp, the action of the lid mechanics and its overall attractive unobtrusive look. The lid will stay up when you lift it up to clean and not slam down.It definitely requires two people to put together, primarily to set the hinges for the lid. One shelter goes together in about 20 minutes total from unboxing to completion.They are a great value overall though hand built with thicker plywood would be sturdier for long term use. Overall we are happy that they were an available option and hope we can get a few years out of them.

Very nice cat house
I bought this for the outdoor feral cats I feed and I love it. Itâs off the ground and has a great roof material that will help keep it dry and safe for the animals. It was very easy to assemble. I reached out to customer service with some questions and they were quick to reply.

Very Poorly Made
I had to return it once because the first time it came damaged. The second one came damaged as well but not as bad. This was my third attempt to get a cat house for the outdoor cats we feed. The first one was from a different company and was also damaged. I decided to just keep this one so I can have something for the cats outside as it is so cold right now where I am.The house itself is very poorly made, screw holes missing, holes not entirely matching up, and worst of all big gaps in the floor which defeats the purpose of the house entirelyâ¦to keep the cats warm outside.I can create the holes, patch all the damaged spots with flashing to ensure itâs waterproof, and seal the floor with maybe foam or something. But I shouldnât have to.Not worth the money!

Best Quality Feral Cat House Ever!!
This was so easy to build! It took about 30 minutes. The tools came with the product. This cat house is designed very well so that you can slide in the inside divider or leave it out and add it later. I would recommend when putting the lid on to have a second person to help hold it in place while the other person screws in the latches. Everything was so easy to install! Our feral cat moved in immediately. I would highly recommend this seller and this product. This was probably the best purchase we made this year. The house is sturdy and good quality for the price. It will easily hold up to the rains this fall. We did receive an email regarding a instruction change, but it was pretty obvious even without the email. This is a very conscientious seller. They emailed us to make sure we got the product. Overall this buyer is highly impressed.
