Jergens Shea Butter Lotion is Super-moisturizing and Heals Psoriasis
For the past year, I have been trying every kind of lotion – searching for one that actually softens the skin and gets rid of wrinkles and psoriasis – long term. I have had patches of dry skin psoriasis for 10 years that would never heal, then I tried Jergen’s Shea Butter lotion and was surprised that it actually worked, no more dry patches! It softened and healed my dry hands and is an excellent face moisturizer. At age 58, it was amazing to see the wrinkled, dried-up skin on my hands and arms disappear, now looking so much softer, healthier and younger!I now use this lotion as my overnight face moisturizer and I put it on under my make-up every morning, and the results are excellent. The scent is fine, but I would prefer to have this lotion with a floral scent, such as lavender or geranium. It contains both Shea butter and Cacao (Cocoa) seed butter, and Mango seed butter which are very moisturizing and soothing. If it did not have cetearyl alcohol added, the lotion would be even more moisturizing, however, I did not experience any drying effects or delayed irritation reactions to the alcohol – (as I have had many times with other lotions). I do wish that the lotion did not contain petrolatum (derived from petroleum) or urea (derived from urine), since these do not seem beneficial or necessary, and in the past when I used a petrolatum salve product – it immediately caused me to develop many warts that I still suffer from today – so I have always tried to avoid petrolatum. So far, Jergen’s Shea Butter lotion has only had a beneficial and silky-smooth effect. Tried and true, it is now top-ranked on my list, definitely best and better than the rest.

Excellent lotion
Great consistency. Very hydrating. I have rosacea and eczema prone skin and this has been great for my dry skin. It melts into the skin nicely and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. I love that this doesn’t have just Shea Butter, but it also has mango butter and cocoa butter in it also. The smell is very nice and subtle. I love applying after the shower. My skin eats this up. Excellent value for the price. Jergens is a known brand, great for sensitive skin types like mine. I highly recommend.

Sehr angenehme Textur, gehaltvoll und doch leicht zum Auftragen. Sehr leichter, unaufdringlicher Duft nach Sheabutter und Vanille. Man riecht ihn nur, wenn man mit der Nase ganz nahe zur eingecremten Haut geht. Das eigene Parfum kann ohne Probleme dazu kombiniert werden und wird nicht “gestört”. Meine trockene, empfindliche Haut verträgt die Bodylotion sehr gut, fühlt sich den ganzen Tag gepflegt an. Nach dem Duschen einfach aufzutragen, zieht schnell ein und klebt nicht. Man kann sich sofort danach anziehen. Ich benütze diese Bodylotion sehr gerne im Winterhalbjahr, im Sommer eher zu reichhaltig.
