Well structured advice on superset training
As usual, Jim’s book is well structured and gives detailed information on not just “what” to do, but on how to do it properly and the reasons superset training works.Images detailing how to carry out each exercise are also included along with training routines or ways to inject supersets into your current routine.The biggest plus? Jim himself, I’ve found he is always more than happy to answer any niggling questions you might have personally. Something you can’t get anywhere else in my experience.Thanks Jim, keep up the good work!

This is a serious and comprehensive book. âJim’s Weight Training Guide, Superset Style!: A Resistance Training Method For Weight loss, Muscle Growth, Endurance and Strength Trainingâ by James Atkinson, gives you everything you need to do it. The author knows his stuff and I feel like I have a personal trainer. The book is well presented; heâs organized it in sections that make it easy to follow. Itâs amazing how I can work this stuff into my routine. Great tips on making my workout more efficient. Recommended. Five stars.

Smart and comprehensive weight training guide which combines health advice with weight lifting instructions. This was just what I needed to get back into lifting. I keep it in my Kindle, read it at night and by morning am excited to implement what I learn. This is a substantive book and a real bargain at the current Kindle price.

Typically, exercising for me means light walking on a treadmill or outdoors, and other types of exercise here and there. But in order to burn fat which I want/ NEED to, Iâve got to step up my game. Iâm looking forward to getting creative and trying the âsupersets for fat burningâ mentioned in this book.Two key takeaways: I donât have to abandon my current exercise routine, but in order to see results I must take incorporating supersets into my fitness routine seriously.Got it. I know I can do it!(Glad also, that in back of book there is both a man and lady demonstrating exercises. Nice cover, but almost didnât read this second book of Atkinson thinking it was for men only – it is not.

ComentarÃa este libro a las personas que entrenan en general y que quieren llegar un poco más lejos en sus entrenamientos ya sea para la pérdida de grasa o para la gananza de masa muscular. Le doy una calificación de cuatro estrellas porque es un libro que no es muy extenso tiene condensados todos los conocimientos del autor y además bien explicados los ejercicios le hubiera dado una quinta estrella si hubiera incluido más fotos y un sistema de indicación para recorrer el libro adelante y atrás de una forma más fácil

As usual, a thorough and professional book by James Atkinson. The anaesthetist for my gall bladder op a couple of days ago told me I was underweight mad should make an effort to put back some of the muscle I’ve lost since my youth. I just might try weight training for the first time in my life…
