It’s completely my fault for not reading better, but I thought these were 1000mg pills. They are not. To get 1000mg of calcium, you must take 3 pills. If you’ve taken calcium pills before, you know they are not small. As I age, I struggle more with swallowing large pills and having to do 3 a day for calcium alone is out of the question. I’ve switched using calcium citrate soft chews which are 500mg per chew.

Disappointed this time
Come on now. I’ve found a couple broken before but this is ridiculous. These do not break after they are in the bottle. Besides being more expensive than regular calcium, these are hard enough to swallow when they are whole, but more difficult with sharp edges. Really disappointed with this company this time. I would have sent them back had I known there would be so many. Finally poured them out and this is what I found. Not sure I’ll stay with the brand.Just found another broken pill and that now makes SEVEN!! Unacceptable I’ve occasionally found one or two thinking that’s the way they get rid of their brokenones, but this is ridiculous. I’m contacting the company.Requested company replace seven of the broken pills – will see what happens.Amazon said I would hear 48 hrs but has been three days and cricket from company. Sooo, looks like I’ll be changing brands as I don’t intend paying for a bottle full of broken pills and company doing nothing about it.
