Fantastic, spacious, affordable pack
This pack is one of several items I now own from Kast King, including spinning and casting reels, multiple packs of braided line and several other fishing accessoriesâ¦and, like tons of other fishing pros, novices, weekenders, and âonce-in-whilersâ familiar w/Kast Kingâs stellar reputation, this tackle pack from them is certain to not disappoint. Itâs superbly constructed, with ample space and keenly placed pockets/pouches to carry ANYTHING you could possibly use for bass fishing. Aside from all the accessories I carry on a typical bass fishing trip, the 4 boxes that come with the pack are filled with all my preferred crank baits, top-water lures, spinner baits and specialty lures, and my unnecessarily bulky soft plastics bag fits easily in the bottom section of this pack. I tend to fish âheavyâ, meaning I typically carry way more tackle and gear than I need, but itâs just how I roll. lol! Whether you fish heavy or light, this pack is darn near perfectly designed to accommodate any fisherman and pretty much any and every application. Another fine and carefully thought out product from Kast King. Definitely recommend!Stephen BMonroe, Ga

Super spacious, the included tackleboxes are awesome!
Just recently retired my old fishing bag due to outgrowing it, and this one is an excellent replacement. Itâs got so much space, I canât even fill it up yet. Itâs got so many pockets, makes organization an absolute breeze. The tackle boxes are really great, theyâve got removable dividers, and feel well made. I canât wait to take this bag camping/fishing. This may very well replace my camping bag too.My two (very minor, almost insignificant) gripes are the d-rings on the front being made of plastic, and the velcro attachment area of the pliers pocket being kinda weak sauce.Great backpack, couldnât recommend enough.

Has every feature you will need.
I didn’t expect to find the “perfect” fishing backpack, but this exceeded my expectations. It has ample space to store essentials and plenty of pockets to keep fishing tackle out of the way yet handy. So far, it is durable and appears well-made. I am 6’4″ tall with broad shoulders, and the shoulder straps are incredibly comfortable when you have to hike a little to get to your favorite fishing spot.

The (almost) perfect fishing bag! Well done!
This bag pack is as close to a perfect fishing back Iâve even gotten. Really solid and cleverly built and looks great, while having tons of storage space without feeling bulky and heavy. For this price itâs everything and more you can ask for. Second to none honestly. Love the tactical look too as opposed to some other bags with crazy colors etc. If they make another version I have a few things I would like to see changed/added and would be willing to pay extra for that. Again at this price point this bag is perfect but here some suggestions: 1) Molle straps feels on the cheaper end and would like a more sturdy implementation as with a typical tactical molle strap system. 2) when loaded the bag kinda fold in on itself. Would be great if the bag had some support elements built into the âframeâ to keep its form (EDIT: there’s actually room for two additional 3600s in the bottom compartment. So 6 in total, and it actually stabilizes the back really well too!) 3) it tends to fall over when itâs sitting upright and youâre pulling stuff in/out of the bag. 4) would be great with some smaller inside zipper compartments in the top main compartment. 5) small waterproof zipper compartment in shoulderstraps for papers, license, phone etc would be nice. 6) clip straps underneath the bag to carry landing mat/net etc. 7) compartment on the bag for a water hydration bladder with straw. 8) a few more D-rings around the bag to attach gear with carabiners etc. (metal instead of plastic rings would be awesome)Just a few suggestions. But again this is a really really great bag already and goes nicely with Kastking pliers and telescopic landing net that fits right into the fillet knife slot on the side.

Versatile but…
needs more support/separation. I like this backpack as it appears well constructed as designed. I especially like that it includes 4 tackle boxes that sit nicely in the bottom of the pack. However, this is not necessarily a boat backpack, given that there are pockets on one side designed for light/ultra light rods it is more of “hike to the stream backpack”. There is a large knife pocket on the other side. Additionally, while there is a zippered pocket on the front for easy access to the four included tackle boxes, it is not a separate compartment. It is simply an easy access to the bottom of the pack. Everything that you put in the pack sits on top of the tackle boxes and consequently falls down when you pull out a tack box. Separate tackle and food/stuff compartments would be an improvement on this pack regardless of boat or stream. Finally, it is a taller pack and does not sit upright innately, it has a tendency to slump on itself. A bit of internal support would also go a long way. Otherwise, this does appear to be a reasonable value. And as a bonus there is velcro sewn on the face of the sunglass pouch and they include a velcro American Flag patch. So that is cool.

Great fishing pack
Price is good, pack is great. Carries all the gear a person will need to catch salmon, trout, or their equivalent. Coverts to a two compartment bag via hook and loop fastener, gear boxes on the bottom, snacks on top. Rod holders are nice however, donât try walking through brush. Could use a drink coozie on the side but that me being picky. Hope this helps. Tight lines.

Very well designed to accommodate everything you need for your fishing field trip. I like the reflective strip for easy location of bag in hours of darkness or following on a trail. Molle accessory compatible on front panel.
