    Great kettlebell training book!
I have always been the sort of person who likes to stay in shape and stay healthy and strong, so I’m always looking for books just like this. I have to say that in this particular case, I was most definitely not disappointed by these kettlebell routines!Like a lot of people, I’ve never done a single thing with kettlebells before. I’ve seen them when I’m at the gym, but I had no idea what to do with them, so I just stuck to my normal routines, even when they got boring and repetitive. When I saw this book, I knew I had to get it. Normal gym routines can get so boring, so I wanted to shake it up a little. From the first time I tried one of these routines, I was absolutely HOOKED! Doing these exercises is unlike all of those other gym machines, it’s fun and really gives you a workout!John keeps the book interesting for the whole thing, too. The formatting was totally readable on my kindle, no problem at all, so I could bring it to the gym with me. The pictures made sure that I was doing the exercises right, those illustrations were amazing!Highly recommend for people of any fitness level who want to get in shape and gain strength! Great book. I learned a ton, and not just about kettlebell exercises, but about their cool history and even about nutrition and health! Very in depth, John doesn’t just toss you in, he makes sure you have everything you need to succeed.

Well worth reading at least twice
I have a background in weightlifting, so I needed a comprehensive look in kettlebells, and based on all the positive reviews on this book, I felt good about starting here. This book provides a comprehensive look at the theory, the bells, and the exercises and the book includes photos. You can get started immediately if you have a kettlebell. It’s nice to see and feel that you are doing the exercises right based on the images and information provided.Follow the rules about progression and you will make good progress without injury. I found some exercises trickier to master in the beginning, but as my balance and co-ordination strengthened they became simple. I have improved a lot here. The book gives you a clear idea of how to put together a typical routine. Variety is good. The best thing though is the feeling of real achievement upon finishing a session, because they are challenging!Overall, I think this book is a great introduction to kettlebells. I’ve have gotten a lot out of it and return to it often and find a little something else I ocerlooked the first time.Well worth reading at least twice!

    alot of lifting
While the book is well written and informative, I had a hard time even getting started with these routines. There’s alot of lifting in this book. The starting weight for a person like me was 18 pounds. I don’t know… that sounds kind of heavy. I’ve not done any exercise for more than a decade and I worry that might do some kind of damage. I no it said we routinely lift that kind of weight everyday but it still just seems like too much.I wanted to try kettlebells because I liked that this book took long repetitive routines and turned them into a short 20 minute workout, but again there was just so much lifting. Maybe I was looking for something else.I’m going to start with the suggested diet plan and then see if I change my mind about the lifting.

Very detailed book, highly recommended regardless of fitness level of an individual.
If you are interested in kettlebell training this book is for you (you probably are since you are reading the comments section to this book). This book is a “complete guide book” that allows you to understand the ins and out of the benefits of kettlebell training. Lot of people knows the benefits of kettlebell training or have seen someone do it, but do not know how to train with kettlebell resulting in poor form, and poor result. Do yourself a favor and get this book to lay a strong foundation of kettlebell training.Warning to the beginners: This book is not end all be all book, reading alone would not allow you to obtain the body of your dream. TAKE ACTION, follow the workout, and diet plan that author lays out in the book and you will see result. Also, my recommendation is to join a gym and get a profession help to nail down the form and incorporate proper weight training as well. For all the advanced lifters, even if you were involved in fitness game for many years you still would want to get this book because with this level of detail in this book there is no reason that you will not learn something out of this book.

I really love kettlebells. They have changed how I exercise
I really love kettlebells. They have changed how I exercise. I have exercised all my life with the exception of an extended period when my kids were small and doing so impacted their health negatively. Such as the time I tae bowed my daughter in the head. Recently I noticed that I was losing my ability to bounce back from small injuries so I figured I needed to find an exercise that could get me strong in a short period of time. Kettlebells have fit the bill. I am always looking for new books to increase my knowledge. This book is a great resource. It has a lot of information, especially about performing moves correctly. This is very important especially with this form of exercise. I recommend this book to anyone interested in kettlebell training.

    Basic Beginner Kettlebell Book
This book was a good book for a beginner kettlebell workout. It’s hard to figure out the proper form of the kettlebell swing from any book. So just look it up on you tube video. The book does have different excerises inside. As long as you stay motivated and follow the excerises within this book you will see results.
