Knowing your resting pulse rate and your blood oxygen level are two great pieces of knowledge to track your health and that of your family members. I got the opportunity to try out the Children Pulse Oximeter Fingertip Pulse Oximeter for Kids Child Blood Oxygen Monitor and decided to give it a try.This is advertised as a ‘kids blood oxygen monitor’, but it worked well for our household members ranging from 2-years old to adults. The results appear to be accurate, compared to tests using pulse oximeter results at the doctor office, which is the biggest key.The kit comes with everything shown in the first photo (including the required batteries) and basic setup is easy using the provided instructions. From opening to first use, the oximeter was up and running in a few minutes. If you are interested in knowing/tracking your family’s blood oxygen levels and pulse levels, this is a good option. And, although it is advertised for kids, I at least was able to get accurate results for both kids and adults. I cannot guarantee it will work for all adults but it did for us. The second photo showing the meter in use is of an adult male using the ‘pinky’ finger.

Works better than expected for 9 yr old
Our child has a seizure disorder so unfortunately, we use these devices more than we would like. We have a more expensive Braun that has never been able to properly read child heart rate. This Oximeter picks it up within 10 seconds of putting it on a finger or big toe. It is adjustable enough for adult use also which I compared the reading on this meter to others and it is within range. Worth the investment for your little one and kids loves to see their heartbeat.

Works great for kids
Like many people I got a pulse oximeter in response to COVID and quickly discovered it doesn’t work for kids. The MugaTree Children Pulse Oximeter silver that problem as it’s specifically designed for kids 2-12 years old and it works great for little kids just as the bigger ones for adults. Aside from the standard oxygen saturation and pulse rate measurements, the MugaTree also measure the perfusion index, someone my adult size oximeter doesn’t, cool. There’s a setting screen that can be accessed by long pressing the button where you can configure the silent alarm, alarm thresholds and brightness setting. Finally I was pleasantly surprised this pulse oximeter comes with a multi functional OLED? screen instead of the more typical segmented LED display, allowing it to better show operating and measurement status.

For the purpose of comparison I had on hand another Pulse Oximeter from a different manufacturer. That Pulse Oximeter had been previous compared to Pulse Oximeter readings from a health care provider and is known to have similar results. My wife, who has small hands, was able to use this MugaTree meter for comparison purposes. Easy and Not Painful to Use
I like to use this oximeter to measure my kiddo’s resting pulse rate and blood oxygen level. This oximeter is really easy to use. I appreciate that it comes with batteries included so it’s ready to use immediately. It does not hurt your fingers when you use it. It is stated as being for kids, but as an adult, I use it as well. The results seem to be accurate and I have no complaints about this oximeter.

Super cute and works
First off, this is adorable. A penguin finger pulse oximeter is automatically better than a normal one. I tried it on several people and it was pretty accurate. The only part that seems a bit off is the PI (perfusion index) basically pulse strength. It went from 8% to 1% then everything between pretty randomly so not confident that’s very accurate, but luckily that’s not as important as the oxygen levels which seem pretty accurate. It fits everyone just fit and that doesn’t seem to impact the accuracy. Reads a lot faster than other oximeters I’ve tried. It includes the oximeter, 2 AAA batteries, and a lanyard. Overall it seems like a pretty good oximeter.
