SO CUTE! SO KIND!
Kindness Makes Us Strong is an absolute gem! This book teaches such an important lesson in the simplest, most beautiful way. Itâs perfect for young readers, with colorful, engaging illustrations and easy-to-understand examples of how kindness can be shown in everyday life. The message is clear and positive: kindness makes us strong as individuals and as a community.
My little one absolutely loves it, and itâs now a favorite in our bedtime routine. The illustrations are adorable, and every page is a reminder that even small acts of kindness â like sharing, helping, or giving hugs â can make a big impact. Itâs a wonderful way to introduce children to empathy and compassion, and it always sparks meaningful conversations after reading.

Kindness is what makes us stronger! And we need this in our world right now.
This is a perfect precious book to read to your littles. The illustrations are beautiful and as a parent, they aren’t cheesy or terrible (like some books are).
The messages are amazing and go through all sorts of feelings and scenarios where kindness matters. <3
NEED A GIFT FOR A TODDLER YOU KNOW?! This would be perfect for them. And is one of my daughters favorite books.

My go to baby shower book
I have purchased this book a few times for baby showers that ask for books instead of cards.
The illustrations are very colorful and overall beautiful in my opinion and Iâm a huge fan of the message this book aims to teach.
I highly recommend this board book and think itâs one every little one should have in their library

Amazingly simple and great open ended discussion book for the littlest toddlers
Sophie Beer has yet to disappoint! This book started our collection of the series.
Kindness Makes us Strong has become a staple in our home and is read pretty much daily. My children have memorized the book and love sharing it with friends and family. I have gifted this book to friends, teachers, family, and at holiday donations. I highly recommended this book. Its uniqueness opens up conversations between reader and child on every page. Discuss the pictures, discuss another example of what is said, discuss how you did something recently that’s described on the page. We are still finding new ways to discuss this book each time we open it and we have brought this book into our daily life by referring back to it when we see kindness in the world.

Great addition to a toddlerâs library
This is one of my favorite books for a toddler. It is simple enough for a toddler to understand and also a nice reminder of kindness for adults as well! Highly recommend as a gift for any child aged 1 – 3 years!

Very cute colorful book
I’m happy we bought this! My almost 1 year old loves having it read to him and enjoys the beautiful illustrations.
I saw another reviewer said they changed the “trading treats” page to “eating together” because of kids with food allergies. I’m going to do that too for when he’s old enough to read. I wouldn’t have thought of it because we don’t have any allergies yet but it’s probably good to be mindful of that. Would be great to see that one change in an otherwise perfect kids’ book.

Kindness book – I like it
Good book. My 3 year old grandchild needs this and a few others like it. It covers many different elements of kindness. I recommend it!

My 2 year old loves this book! Great graphics and simple to follow.

My two year old daughter and I love this book. The colours and illustrations are bold and attractive and provide really lovely examples of kindness; examples that even little kiddos will appreciate.
There arenât too many words per page, and the book itself isnât too long, meaning itâs not too much of an attention-ask for young ones. Itâs felt suitable for my two year old, but I think she would have enjoyed it from even younger. The combination of not too much text and and lovely images allows for lots of conversation with your little one, i.e. pointing out whatâs going on or spotting different objects.
From a parenting perspective, I love the topic. Itâs simplistic, but effective. It provides nice examples of kindness to bring the concept alive. My daughter and I now regularly point out acts of kindness when weâre out and about, whether thatâs things we, or others are doing. Sheâs even repeated some of the acts of kindness in the book. Giving a âfriendly helloâ at the park is particularly heart warming.
For those looking for a story, there is none to be found, but Iâve found it to be a lovely addition to our little library regardless.

This is such a beautiful book, the first my 12 month daughter has really engaged with and not just eaten! The illustrations are bold and eye catching. The whole book is thoughtfully written and very inclusive for all genders, cultures and abilities. It is a top favourite for us with such an essential and empowering message.
