Adds moisture and reduces frizz to my blow dried hair.
This Kintsugi Hair Nourishing Oil works great on my hair. I use it mostly when it’s dry to reduce frizz and volume on my long, dark hair. The pump top with dropper is really not needed in my opinion. You have to have two hands in order to push the button to fill the dropper. When there’s enough serum to use just from the outside of the dropper. I love the scent. Most oils stay on your hands and you have to wash them after applying. This one soaks into your hands and doesn’t leave any residue. I am a regular user of serums, I use three different types by the time my hair is finished. It just takes that many to my make my curly hair look sleek when straightening. This serum made my hair soft and less frizzy. I will be adding it to my daily hair routine.

Does NOT make your hair oily
I hate using serums and stuff because I feel like it makes my hair oily. Plus it makes my hair look oily too but most of the time itâs not a look, my hair just really is oily. NOT THIS ONE. This one is so lightweight!!! It does not look lightweight though but wait til it hits your fingers. It looks like thick goo and the fact that it was in a dropper form was weird to me. I was seriously skeptical and used it for the first time when I was going to just be home. But this was shocking.For starters like I said it came in dropper form. The top of the bottle is like the button/plunger top for a dropper. The dropper is glass which is super fancy but it made it so easy to control. A pump is usually just as easy but the dropper makes it seem so fancy.Finally the serum is so lightweight. I dropped it on my hand and the moment I barely rubbed my fingers together it felt like I was rubbing a satin sheet in between my fingers. When I put it to my hair it looked like I didnât add anything. I even added two more drops to my fingers just in case. I thought for sure my skin must have soaked it all up or something. But no I brushed my hair out and looked in the mirror and the side I did was shiny, relaxed, and just soft!!!! So soft!!! I donât know how a serum made it soft, I was expecting it to just make it shiny (oily) but no it was beautiful. Thank goodness I only did half of my hair to be able to see the difference. Anyways next time I did my hair, two days later, i showed. Than applied the serum to my towel dried damp hair and blow dried it out. Added two more drops and my goodness this will forever be my thing. Now for some background, my hair is curly and thick. Iâm Mexican and have the hair to prove it. Itâs frizzy and if I down blow dry it after I shower or worse if I sleep on it damp I wake up with madoosa hair. Itâs that bad. So the fact that this serum can calm my hair down so perfectly is amazing. Plus since I always blow dry it straight my hair is slightly damaged. But this really does make a difference.

I was really excited to try this product, but I’m not sure that it works as well as I would have liked.The smell kind of reminds me of a really nice men’s cologne, which I actually don’t mind at all.I applied some to my hair when it was damp, blew it out, and then applied a little more after, as the directions instructed to do.My hands felt super oily after it I had to work to get the residue off of my hands, and I didn’t really notice a difference in the feel or look of my hair

Individual results vary, but for some individuals this is an amazing product
I wasn’t sure how much this Kintsugi Sakura Glow Hair Nourishing Oil would help me. My hair is mostly its original dark brown / black, about 10% gray. The gray hairs can decide at times to do what they want, but mostly my hair still behaves as it did, with all the strands wanting to hang out together peacefully, and looks shiny and glossy all together. I rarely style my hair with heat or product, so it is generally very healthy and happy. When I used this oil, it didn’t make a significant change. It had a pleasant, mild scent, and despite feeling very oily in hand, it didn’t feel very oily on my head. But my hair didn’t look all that different.A friend had recently told me that his hair, now all white, felt very crispy and undernourished. I asked him to try this oil and his hair looked better immediately. It was shocking. His cropped white hair went from doing its own thing to being able to be tamed. During the hour that we visited, it went from wiry to whole. My friend did mention that his hands were quite oily after application, but again, after washing it off we were both amazed at how well his hair took it.I suspect that anyone whose hair is very damaged or simply not very soft could see immediate benefits from this oil. I am really glad to have a bottle of this magic for when I need it!
