Worked great for my hair
I have shoulder length, thick, naturally curly (combo 3b and 4a). I ordered two sets in order to do my whole head. After washing and deep conditioning my hair, I sectioned out my very wet hair and went in with some hair oil and my favorite curling cream and made sure to link each roller together. Which got a little tricky for the back of my head but the top layers it was pretty easy to get the hang of. I also made sure that I rolled them two different directions rolling towards my head with the first row, away the second, etc. after I got them all in I wrapped my whole head with a satin hair scarf and went about my day. If I would have left them in over night they would have been tighter curls but I took them out after about 8 hours (tried these on a Sunday when I knew I had time and no plans to go anywhere) and the curls looked like my typical second day curl pattern/shape. As my hair tends to take quite a while to air dry anyways, it was about 65% dry when I removed the rollers. I will definitely be trying these again doing the same thing – very wet hair, hair oil/curl cream, and cover with scarf, but will sleep on them and probably just leave them in until completely dry when I get to work the next day.

Justâ¦..bad
I never write poor reviews, but these rollers deserve zero stars. First off, Iâve used flexi rods, perm rods, pillow rollers, sponge rollers, magnetic rollers, curlformers, you name it Iâve tried it. They all have their flaws and benefits so Iâm writing this from a place of familiarity with hair rollers of all types. These rollers are like worse flexi rods. They have a nice satin covering, sure, but it is way harder to connect the clasps(?) than it would seem. They donât click or give any feedback whatsoever when theyâre connected, so half the time when you think theyâre connected they really arenât and fall right out. Also, after trying to use them for the FIRST TIME one broke, leaving the clasps connected and the seam ripped where the clasp used to be. They arenât NEARLY as comfortable to wear as it would seem (Iâd rather sleep in perm rods tbh) and just all around fiddly to use. Theyâre also incredibly stiff, not soft at all, imagine trying to connect the ends of a flexi rod and youâll have a good idea of these.I really wanted to love these rollers as a way to maintain a bit of stretch and curl (I have natural hair) overnight after Iâve done a proper roller set, but they just arenât it. Overall lame, if you read this then take my advice and just get some normal pillow rollers tbh. Theyâre way easier, way more comfortable, and theyâre going for like $15 for 30 of them on Amazon.

I love the curls but the quality goes down
I love the way the curls came out but after using them for a week where I wrap my hair the roller foam creases which makes it hard to keep wrapping it.

LOVE these!
Super easy to use – love the soft curls and volume I get from these rollers – snaps at the end are easy to clip – pretty comfortable to sleep with them in – really love that I am not damaging hair with heat.

MIGHT put a LITTLE body into very long, thick hair
My hair is fine and just below shoulder length, all one length (no layers). I put a little bit of styling product on my very damp hair and worked it through the ends evenly to help ensure success and cues/body. The satin rollers were somewhat challenging to put in because my (very damp, not just a little âspritzed-with-waterâ damp) hair still kept sliding off; it definitely would not have worked at all if my hair were merely a little damp. All of my hair fit easily into three of the 6 rollers. DEFINITELY connect/interlink each roller to another, as the instructions say, or theyâll fall right out. By the time Iâd rolled and snapped the third roller into place, hair was already falling out of the first two everywhere. I tucked the ends in as best I could, then put a (donât laugh!) geeky obnoxious satin old-fashioned night cap(!) over the whole thing to keep everything in place as I slept. Next morning, I woke up and tried to carefully remove the oversized nightcap without dislodging rollers. About 50% of the now-dry hair fell right off the rollers before or as I removed the cap (very glad I put that on or there would have been zero chance of success!!). So, in the end, the three rollers I linked together on the top of my head were fairly comfortable to sleep in (the satiny nightcap probably helped). The hair came right off the rollers before I could even get them unsnapped. The top of my head had zero body, curl, or anything: the whole top of my head (under the rollers) was flat to my scalp. The rest of the hair showed a little body and a little curl in places, but by the time Iâd parted and lightly fluffed the crown of my head into semi-shape, all that was left was some amorphous body. Probably donating these and going back to my small cottony foldable padded ârollersâ (picture a 3âlong by 2â wide by 1â thick almond with a mini sewn cotton cover over batting and wire). Those result in predictable curls that last for 2-3 days (or until washing or wetting it) and look smashing if a bit vintage â50s. Theyâre less comfy to wear, and I need 6-7 to do up all of my hair, but no AM surprise re-dos are necessary: light finger-comb styling and a dot or two of very light comb-able hairspray and Iâm good for a day, night, and (with satin nightcap) a second and sometimes third day. These rollers: not for my wimpy fine hair. Thick, longer hair would likely fare better, but donât expect âcurlsâ just some body.

I have naturally curly extremely long hair that will curl very easily around most things even Chopsticks lol. I found these were comfortable, easy to use made the perfect size curl and could be washed quite easily. I like the way they snap together to hold in place and you can Loop went through the other to hold them firmly. You can even do this on slightly damp hair and they come up quite nicely they’re comfortable enough to sleep on too. I’m impressed with these I like them and I may get more so I can do smaller sections and more curls.

I literally use these every night and they are so effective. I wear a silk turban over the top for extra comfort. Highly recommend
