My niece had so much fun “excavating”. She used the brushes provided and took her time. We only did a few of them saving some to do with her parents.

Fun quasi-educational activity
I got these for my class and the kids had a lot of fun with them. There are 12 “eggs” and 12 different cards but they did not strictly correspond with each other. There were three of the spinosaurus but one card, and a pterodactyl dino but no card for it. This wasn’t a huge deal but it did lead to some minor disappointment among the kiddos. Also not strictly “fossil” since it doesn’t look like bones, which may be confusing if your actually trying to teach about fossils. It’s fun, that’s all. And definitely messy, so have vacuum and wipes on hand!

Dino egg kits had missing parts
It advertised the matching cards to describe the dinosaurs would come with the kit. There was no cards in the box. I am very disappointed about this.
