Complete waste
It looks pretty, thatâs the one positive. Itâs very heavy and difficult to maneuver through your hair. It is a large barrel so it only completes one or maybe two rotations through average length hair, and when it gives absolutely zero curl, the wand is pointless. I tried keeping it on my hair longer hoping that would do somethingânothing. I kept trying, thinking it must do something to the hair, I kept it on longer than necessary and probably is even good for your hair, the heat was high, still it did nothing to my hair. Itâs called a âsoft bendâ I realize but it doesnât even give that. Also, it made my hair stink like burned hair or something that lasted days. So it probably damages hair. Ultimately this is the worst curling wand Iâve tried, and Iâve tried a ton. So this went back. The spray texturizer from Kristen Ess is nice though, even if this curling wand is terrible.

I love the look of this iron. It is so elegant with the gold and white! It gives the perfect blow out look! I do feel that it could be a bit damaging if you over do itâso make sure to use heat protectant 🙂

Didnt Work For Me
I am still perplexed at why this curler didn’t work for me. To be fair it gets hot so I can’t really knock the functionality but my hair never curled and I tried very hard to make it happen. (I really wanted that blowout look) I think it could be because the barrel is too large at 2 inches. I had the ends of my hair turn up a bit but the entire strand of hair was straight above it. I have to say that the packaging and item itself were beautiful though. I was sad to return it.

The power button is in an odd spot so I kept accidentally turning it off. It doesnât glide over your hair but rather pulls on it a bit. It doesnât leave a smooth finish and thereâs still a bit of frizz in my hair after using it. Iâve had far better results with Babyliss and Argan Heat curling irons.
