Gentle and smells good
I have very naturally thin, oily hair (type 1A). I have tried âclarifyingâ shampoos in the past that made my hair feel like straw. However, this shampoo is great, it removes build up, oils, and impurities from my hair without being overly stripping. My hair feels normal and not dried out after use. I was not expecting this shampoo to smell as amazing as it does. It lathers really well and it is an amazing clarifying shampoo. Itâs very easy to spread and cleans very well. I used some very heavy oils on my hair (like coconut) to see how well it washes it out. My hair felt so clean! The one thing I didnât love was the container which is why I didnât give it a 5/5. Itâs in a flimsy plastic container but other than that I find it to be an amazing and affordable shampoo option.

Someone asked a question here (and Amazon asked me to respond) but I lost the email. The smell does not smell like coconut, not even close. Its a clean gender neutral citrusy scent and is simply fabulous. The only thing I can equate it to is the men’s cologne “Sauvage” by Dior, very distinct, sharp, clean, lingering, and simply a pleasing scent.
Sometimes in life you come across things that just hit the spot; a nice fitting shirt, smell of old leather, a great tasting meal, etc., and this shampoo scent is in that caliber of events. And it cleans your hair and lathers really nicely. 5 stars for sure! Just bought another bottle.
