HEADS UP TO BUYERS: This is an amazing product in its true form. In other words, when I purchase it from a beauty supplier/salon like Ulta I get the guaranteed product. Iâve noticed that the bottles Iâve purchased on Amazon have a weaker scent, donât lather as well, and dont make my scalp feel as clean. If youâre looking at the cheaper price, thereâs a good reason itâs being offered for less. This information didnât âregisterâ until I just ordered it again recently and realized it wasnât being fulfilled by Kristen Ess. I plant to return this bottle to Amazon and make the drive to Ulta. Itâs DEFINITELY worth it! If you donât have a salon near you who carries this product, then please search Amazon and try to find a supplier who is known in the reviews to be a reputable salon. PLUS IT SMELLS AMAZING!!!!!The applicator takes a little getting used to, but if youâve ever used an in-home hair color kit, this is very similar, except you start with wet hair. This shampoo has great lather, but you have to add a little bit of water with your hands to increase the lather once youâve applied it to your scalp.If I could give this shampoo 20 stars, I would-It works THAT well for my hair.Also, I follow up with Kristen Ess Hair Mask for light conditioning and then add Kristen Ess Air Dry Crème once I towel off my hair.This has been the best combination Iâve found for my 60 yr old fine-textured gray hair to help tame frizz and keep it healthy.

i have had long, thick 3b-4a type hair for sometime now. iâve tried so many different products over time and have come to accept the fact that i am lazy. i try to fit a wash day in weekly but sometimes that doesnât happen. normally, i use to cowash my hair when i was between washes but i felt that ultimately it was not cleansing enough. i use micellar water on my face and decided to search for a micellar water cleanser for the scalp when i stumbled across this. this shampoo does a GREAT job at leaving my hair feeling fresh so i donât feel so bad stretching out the time between washes. it does leave my hair a bit dry and frizzy, but thatâs because i use the shampoo as a rinse and only put leave in conditioner in it. itâs definitely better than the cowashes i have used and i will continue using this product until i find maybe a more fitting product to cleanse my scalp without being overly drying if i donât use a rinse out conditioner.

I have been suffering with dandruff and itchy scalp for months! To the point that my scalp was really red from scratching. I already tried One wash, and the itchiness has not completely stopped, but itâs a lot better. I noticed when I was scratching my head I had no more flakes! And my hair is SUPER shiny. Overall it seems like a good product, but I wouldn’t say it’s deep cleansing or purifying. It’s much too hydrating for my hair. It leaves my scalp greasy and it caused scalp acne. My hair feels limp and heavy with buildup after using this product.I’d say if you need a lot of hydration for your scalp this might work for you, but my scalp doesn’t like the extra moisture.
