Holds the curl
Love this curling wand. Takes a little getting used to without a clasp but they give you a glove to help. Heats up very quickly, dual voltage and so I took it to Europe on vacation and it worked well. Great value and good size.

Love it! Dupe for NuMe brand curling wand
I am so happy with this purchase. I had an expensive NuMe curling wand since around 2012. It still worked perfectly except the rubber handle had begun to disintegrate. I suspect they didn’t intend for the wand to last over a decade. I wanted a new one but didn’t want to spend too much money on it. This is a cheaper alternative and performs just as well. It looks exactly the same as my old wand. I have very thick, coarse hair, so the lack of temperature control doesn’t bother me.

Good Iron, would Change A Few Things
This iron works. It certainly gets hot and has helped my hair curl. The only things I wish I could change is that there is not heat setting – its an on/off type of iron and I wish it had an icon when it was heated up to the level necessary. I tend to be impatient and try to start curling when I think its good to go. Overall, it really does a good job and the packaging was very nice, it included a heat glove (necessary).

Takes a Little Getting Used To
I have perfectly straight, glossy hair, and, as a woman who likes to keep it casual when she’s not on stage singing, I usually like to wear it straight.However, there are times, like when I’m going to a formal party, a wedding, a celebration of any kind, the theater, the symphony, etc., when I want a little more. I want a little curl. This wand gives me what I want, and it gives it to me easily.I’ll admit, this wand takes a little getting used to if you’ve never used one before. There is a slight learning curve. But it’s just slight. This wand won’t give you tight curls, but I don’t know many people who want tight curls these days. The trend is toward loose, beachy waves, and this wand will give you a head full of those. (My hair is about 4-5″ below my shoulders.)I kind of wish the wand had more heat settings, but I am careful to always use the heat protective spray. I recently lost a little hair due to stress, and though you wouldn’t know it looking at me, I know it, and I sure don’t feel I can burn any! (Revitalizing my dormant hair follicles with papaya juice, a scalp massager, and red/NIR light, all available here on Amazon.) Thankfully, the wand does come with a glove so you can wind your hair around it without fear of burning your fingers.The wand is titanium rather than ceramic, which means it heats up almost instantly, but also means it has more of a chance to harm your hair. Be careful with it. Don’t feel you have to keep it on your hair for a long time to get curl. You don’t. Personally, I’d rather have ceramic, so it didn’t get so hot so fast, but that’s just me.For me, even with my straight hair, this wand gives me sexy, beachy waves that are glossy and last all day. And, so far, I haven’t harmed the wand or my hair, and don’t expect to.

Was so upset when my other brand curling iron stopped working but it was a blessing in disguise! This curling iron is amazingggg! Just be aware that itâs only one heat setting. I have very thick hair so no problem on my side, but if you have thin hair it may be too harsh

Zero options and dangerous
Iâve been using curling wands for years, and this is my least favorite one Iâve ever used. For starters there are no controls. It literally just turns on and off, so thereâs no option to adjust the temperature for different types of hair. And speaking of turning on and off, this wand also does not offer auto shut off like so many do. So, if you leave it plugged in, itâs staying on until you unplug it (mine ran for 9+ hours and fortunately my counter was clutter free and we avoided a house fire). Also, thereâs no safety tip. Iâve got scars everywhere from this thing (neck, shoulders, face, chest etc). And these arenât ordinary curling iron burns. Because it gets SO hot and you canât adjust it, it really sears your skin and does permanent damage. I thought maybe there was just a learning curve to this particular wand, but Iâm going on about 7 months of daily use with this thing and Iâm still burning myself. It does curl my hair decently, but I donât notice much difference compared to other wands Iâve used, and with the lack of options on this thing itâs just not worth it to continue using. Iâd recommend choosing a different wand with more options/safety features.

Iâve had other lâange products before. I wasnât as impressed with this one. I found it more difficult to use because of the tip (no bumper/end cap to hold or protect your skin against the raging heat. I bought for my courthouse wedding and luncheon afterwardsâ¦I burned the crap outta myself with the end pretty badly several times so I had my wedding pics with burn marks all over my neck. Positives are that it gets really hot and is a good size to make looser waves. And yes I am very experienced at doing my own hair so it wasnât a rookie mishap. If they put an end piece on, for protection it would be sooooo much better. Itâs a good product that does what itâs supposed to but itâs also risky – you might get burned more easily.

This curling wand works beautifully. Iâve owned very expensive curling wands in the past and the results are the same as this one. Heats up quickly, makes a nice strong wave that lasts and the barrel thickness is perfect for waves. Even the swivel cord makes curling easier than a traditional curling iron.
