Noisy, but that’s the only downside
Pad is super light, packs down super small, and is super comfortable at night. Like others of its style, it’s noisy, but that’s only when you move :). It’s a little narrow. This doesn’t bother me, as I’m 5’2″, 125 pounds. But it could be very off-putting for a larger person.

Most comfortable air mattress Iâve ever used.
We are no strangers. Between camping and moving a lot for my spouseâs job, we do regularly sleep on air mattresses. We have the Big Agnes double sleeping bag and used it on top of a regular full size air mattress, but because of the fitted sheet style elastic on the bottom, it twisted around under us all night and was really annoying. So we bit the bullet and bought this one and it really plussed up our camping experience. Love that itâs compact when deflated, but itâs also supportive and you donât feel like youâre rolling off it like with some air mattresses.

Sleeping pad
This thing is to me the best air pad you can get keeps air well and very warm . I’ve tried other pads but so far this is my favorite.

Well-made, very comfortable, and user-friendly
I used the pad in a recent multi-night camping trip, and the pad definitely lived up to the hype. At 5’10”, I did have early concerns that the 72″ version may be too short, but it turned out fine as I’m a side sleeper. I had some great sleep on it. In terms of operation, the pad was easy to inflate with a Flextail pump, while using the included pump sack took quite a bit more effort, but was still alright. I did not have to top-up the air during the whole trip. The pad was easy to re-pack into the stuff sack, which may seem like a small thing but actually saves a lot of frustration.Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Great sleeping pad
Bought this to replace another inflatable sleeping pad I have. I liked that this one was insulated and I noticed that it kept me considerably warmer than the one I used before. I so far Iâve used it twice for summer, with evenings ranging from the 50-60s. I didnât find the mat any noisier than any other sleeping mat Iâve used. I normally use a small rechargable air pump, but I did try the bag that comes with this and was able to successfully inflate the mat, and it wasnât as laborious or time consuming as I expected. Overall Iâm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a light weight sleeping pad.

Great pad. Expensive, but a game changer.
I bought this pad to go into a Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2. Fits like a glove into the entire tent bed. Awesome! Then put a Dream Island 20 double sleeping bag (more like a quilt, but whatever) on top. Loved being able to secure the bag onto the pad with the flaps and drawstring. The tent, the pad, and the bag are all “tapered”, so everything fits perfectly.Although we only saw the high 30s (so far), we were perfectly warm on this insulated pad. I would confidently take this setup into at least the high 20s. We are side sleepers, and the pad was firm–never felt my joints hit the ground. The inflation sack took a little getting used to, but once you get the “trick” (blow into it to make it fully “inflate”), it really does make the job of inflating the pad a lot easier.I took off a star because this pad is stupidly overpriced. Also, the first pad I got would not stay inflated. Fortunately, the replacement seems to work fine. Will update this review after a few more trips, especially if it doesn’t last. But so far so good.

Best sleep I’ve had in weeks
I am 5’8″, 220lbs and my gf is 5’5″ 112lbs. I’ve been using 2 therma rest neo sleep for our backpacking, camping etc trips. They sucked soooo bad. Used them for a few years, and rarely got good sleep with them. I’m a side sleeper and , and my gf would fall off the mat. I got this one for the 2 of us. Just used it for a camping trip. I am not exaggerating when I say, best sleep in weeks. Like, out cold sleep. Temperatures definitely dropped to the 40s, and this kept me warm, but holy crap is it comfortable. My gf and I did not feel like we were falling off or pushing each other off or did not have more than enough space. I move around alot and barely bumped into her or felt like I need extra space. Highly recommend, and definitely keeping it. Excited for my next trip.We test our sleeping pad on the weekends as well, in our living room. Had great sleep every time.

The Big Agnes Rapide SL sleeping pad has redefined my camping experience with its unparalleled comfort and exceptional durability. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I’ve tried numerous sleeping pads over the years, but the Rapide SL stands out as a game-changer.First and foremost, the comfort level of the Rapide SL is extraordinary. The pad features a well-designed air chamber system that provides ample support and cushioning. Whether I’m camping on rugged terrain or a rocky surface, the pad adapts to my body contours, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating night’s sleep. The thickness and density strike a perfect balance, offering optimal comfort without sacrificing portability.Durability is another area where the Rapide SL shines. Constructed with high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship, this sleeping pad is built to withstand the rigors of outdoor adventures. I’ve used it on various terrains, and it has proven to be remarkably resistant to punctures, abrasions, and general wear and tear. The robust construction gives me the confidence that the pad will last for seasons to come, making it a worthwhile investment. One of the standout features of the Rapide SL is its user-friendly design. The pad inflates and deflates swiftly with its efficient valve system, allowing for hassle-free setup and pack-up. The pad’s compact size and lightweight nature make it ideal for backpacking trips, as it easily fits into my pack without adding unnecessary bulk.Another aspect I appreciate is the pad’s excellent thermal insulation. Even in colder conditions, the Rapide SL provides reliable insulation from the ground, preventing heat loss and keeping me comfortably warm throughout the night. Additionally, the surface material feels soft against the skin, adding to the overall comfort experience. It’s worth noting that the Rapide SL comes with a higher price tag compared to some other sleeping pads on the market. However, considering its exceptional comfort, durability, and performance, I believe it is worth the investment for outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize quality and long-lasting gear.
