Great variety
This eyeshadow palette has a great variety of colors. There are many neutrals and some darker colors as well. There is a variety of matte colors along with sparkly ones as well. These colors blend well and the colors compliment each other well, so many options can be used. I really like Laura Geller products and they are high quality – last a long time, no creasing, no irritation. They don’t create a lot of dust, so I don’t feel like I am wasting it. I can’t wait to try more combinations.

Broken shadow
The package arrived on time. The box was packed correctly and without damage however, there were 3 of 14 shadows broken in half. This may not be a big deal, but these are small shadows to begin with.

I wish it had more matte options.
This palette is mostly warm toned colors. It is a little bit hard to tell the colors even in person, they do not translate to the skin the way they look in the pan especially the darker shades that look like they would be mauve or berry come out orangey rusty. There is really only one true matte and that is the color Wondrous. Scenic seemed as if it was matte but has a slight pearl to it, it is more of a brow bone highlight color to me. Overall these are all either shimmer or glitter. The darker shades are ones with more glitter bits and these shades are more crumbly with a lot of fallout. The glitter does fall away fairly easily, you can brush it off before it gets on your face. I do not like how inset they are in the cardboard pan, it limits what you can use to get the product out. For example if you want to use your finger for more color payoff it is harder to get it nicely on your finger. As a woman in her 40’s I do stay farther away from products with shimmer and glitter. I was hoping this palette was more of a mix, but it is not. I would say for me at least this palette is more of a holiday special occasion palette than everyday due to the glitter.

Works for a daytime look too! [Delectables Baked Eyeshadows – Vacation Vista – Holiday 2024]
The Vacation Vista palette gives some really great options for a warm holiday or subtle daily look. Only two of the shades seem to be completely matte: Scenic and Wondrous. The other shades have various degrees of glitter. Even with my non-existent skill, I was able to apply a super subtle daytime look. I started with eyeshadow primer, used the Vacation Vista palette for eyeshadow and liner, then finished off with Laura Gellerâs Kajal Longwear Mascara and a setting spray. While I had to clean off sprinkled glitter shadow on my cheeks during application, the eyeshadow didnât budge from my lids until I forgot and rubbed it off after a nap several hours later.
